Arterial Spin Labeling Blood Flow Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the Evaluation of Response to Therapy...
Renal Cell CarcinomaThe purpose of this study is to assess magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as a tool to track tumor growth for renal cell carcinoma while participants are on clinical treatment therapy of sunitinib and AMG386. An MRI is a type of scan that uses powerful magnets to make clearer images or to focus on detailed medical information in the abdomen and pelvis. The imaging done for this study will use the arterial spin labeling (ASL) MRI technique that allows us to see blood flow changes which possibly may indicate changes in tumor growth. Participants will be on a clinical trial for the treatment.
Phase 2 Study in Patients With MiT Tumors
Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS)1 moreThis is a multi-center, single arm intended to evaluate the anti-tumor effect of ARQ 197 in patients with microphthalmia transcription factor associated (MiT) tumors. MiT tumors include clear cell sarcoma, alveolar soft parts sarcoma, and translocation associated renal cell carcinoma.
The High-Dose Aldesleukin (IL-2) "Select" Trial for Patients With Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma...
Metastatic Renal Cell CarcinomaHigh-dose interleukin 2 (Proleukin, Novartis) (IL-2) is approved by the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of metastatic kidney cancer and is a standard treatment of this disease. At the present time, IL-2 is the only therapy for kidney cancer that can produce a remission of disease that lasts after treatment is completed. However, most patients who receive IL-2 do not benefit and all patients experience potentially dangerous side effects. Recent research has suggested that certain patients may respond better to IL-2 than others. The Cytokine Working Group is currently conducting a clinical trial that aims to identify and confirm this research and narrow the application of IL-2 to those patients most likely to benefit.
A Study of Avastin (Bevacizumab) in Combination With Standard Therapy in Patients With Metastatic...
Renal Cell CancerThis single arm study will assess the efficacy and safety of Avastin in combination with interferon alfa-2a and vinblastine as first line treatment in patients with metastatic renal cell cancer. Patients will receive Avastin (15mg/kg iv) every 3 weeks, interferon alfa-2a 3 times weekly (3 Mio IU sc escalating to 18 Mio sc) and vinblastine (0.1mg/kg iv) every 3 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment is until tumor progression, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
IMA901 in Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma Patients With Measurable Disease
Renal Cell CarcinomaThis study was conducted in order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the cancer vaccine IMA901 and GM-CSF as adjuvant in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma. Patients received vaccination with GM-CSF followed by IMA901 during the study period of 9 months. Patients received pre-treatment with a single i.v. infusion of cyclophosphamide prior to the first vaccination.
A SU011248 Expanded Access Protocol for Systemic Therapy of Patients With Metastatic Renal Cell...
Metastatic Renal Cell CarcinomaA SU011248 expanded access protocol for systemic therapy of patients with metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma who are ineligible for participation in other SU011248 protocols but may derive benefit from treatment with SU011248
Sunitinib as First-Line Therapy in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced Metastatic Papillary...
Kidney CancerRATIONALE: Sunitinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well sunitinib works as first-line therapy in treating patients with locally advanced or metastatic papillary renal cell (kidney) cancer.
Phase III Study of Sorafenib in Patients With Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)
CarcinomaRenal CellA multicenter uncontrolled study of sorafenib in patients with unresectable and/or metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) to assess the pharmacokinetic profile, safety and tolerability, and efficacy.
Long-term Extension From RCC Phase II (11515)
CarcinomaRenal CellExtension to study 11515 (NCT00661375) which was a multicenter study of sorafenib in patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
A Phase 1 Study of Nivolumab (BMS-936558) in Subjects With Advanced or Recurrent Malignancies
Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostrate CancerRenal Cell Carcinoma2 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of MDX-1106 in patients with certain types of cancer. Another purpose is to determine how MDX-1106 is absorbed and distributed within the body, and how it's eventually eliminated.
