A Study of Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2A in Combination With Lamivudine or Entecavir Compared With...
Pediatric Immuno-Tolerant Chronic Hepatitis BThis randomized, controlled, parallel group, open-label multicenter study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of a combination of pegylated interferon alfa-2A (Pegasys) plus lamivudine or entecavir compared with an untreated control group in participants with HBeAg positive CHB in the immune tolerant phase. NOTE: STUDY RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN TERMINATED
The Efficacy and Safety of Entecavir Treatment of Patients With Acute on Chronic Hepatitis B Liver...
Liver FailureTo evaluate therapeutic efficacy and predicting factors of entecavir for treating patients with acute on chronic hepatitis B liver failure (ACHBLF). A total of 108 patients with ACHBLF were allocated into either a treatment group (ETV group, n=53) or a control group (n=55). The HBV DNA level, liver function and survival condition of the patients were observed for 48 weeks after enrollment. The factors possibly related to entecavir treatment efficacy were also identified.

HBeAg(+) Chronic Hepatitis BA study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of clevudine and peg-interferon in sequence compared with clevudine alone in the patients with HBeAg(+) chronic Hepatitis B or clevudine and peg-interferon sequential treatment in patients with chronic Hepatitis B who have HBeAg(+)
A Phase II Dose Response Study in Japan in Chronic Hepatitis B
Chronic Hepatitis BTo demonstrate the dose response of entecavir in Japanese patients as measured by HBV DNA levels by PCR (log10 copies/mL) at Week 22
A Study of Combination or Sequential Treatment With PEGASYS (Peginterferon Alfa-2a) and Entecavir...
Hepatitis BChronicThis 2 arm study will assess the efficacy and safety of Pegasys in combination or sequential treatment with entecavir in patients with HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B. Patients who have been pretreated with, and responded to, entecavir for 9 to 36 months were randomized to one of 2 groups, to receive Pegasys 180micrograms/week sc for 48 weeks + entecavir 0.5mg po daily for 8 weeks, or entecavir 0.5mg po daily for 48 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months.
A Study of PEGASYS (Peginterferon Alfa-2a (40KD)) in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B.
Hepatitis BChronicThis single arm study will assess the efficacy and safety of PEGASYS in patients with chronic hepatitis B who are either treatment-naive, or who have failed lamivudine- or interferon-treatment in the past. All patients will receive PEGASYS, 180 micrograms s.c. weekly for 48 weeks, followed by 48 weeks of treatment-free follow-up. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
An Extension to Viral Kinetics Study of Telbivudine and Entecavir in Adults With Chronic Hepatitis...
Chronic Hepatitis BThis study is to evaluate the safety of telbivudine for up to 21 months of open-label treatment in patients with chronic hepatitis B who have completed the CLDT600A2407 trial. Patients treated with telbivudine during core phase will continue telbivudine and patients treated with entecavir during core phase will be switched to telbivudine if the patient is willing to enroll this study.
A Study of PEGASYS (Peginterferon Alfa-2a (40KD)) in Patients With Hepatitis Be Antigen (HBeAg)...
Hepatitis BChronicThis 4 arm study will compare the efficacy and safety of PEGASYS given for 24 or 48 weeks, and at doses of 90 or 180 micrograms weekly, in the treatment of HBeAg positive patients with chronic hepatitis B. Patients will be randomized to one of 4 treatment groups: a)PEGASYS 90 micrograms subcutaneous (sc) weekly for 24 weeks, b)PEGASYS 180 micrograms sc weekly for 24 weeks, c)PEGASYS 90 micrograms sc weekly for 48 weeks or d)PEGASYS 180 micrograms sc weekly for 48 weeks. Following treatment there will be a 24 week period of treatment-free follow-up in all treatment groups for the primary endpoint. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 500+ individuals.
