UNITY 3: A Japanese Phase 3 Study of a Daclatasvir/Asunaprevir/BMS-791325 in Subjects With Genotype...

Hepatitis C Virus Infection

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the proportion of treatment-naive non-cirrhotic subjects with Genotype (GT)-1b treated with Daclatasvir (DCV)/Asunaprevir (ASV)/BMS-791325 who achieve Sustained Virologic response (SVR12), defined as Hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA < LOQ target detected or target not detected (LOQ TD/TND) at follow-up Week 12, is significantly higher than SVR12 of current Standard of Care (SOC).

An Efficacy and Safety Study of Grazoprevir (MK-5172) + Elbasvir (MK-8742) in the Treatment of Chronic...

Chronic Hepatitis C

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of grazoprevir (MK-5172) 100 mg in combination with elbasvir (MK-8742) 50 mg in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) in participants who are co-infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The primary hypothesis is that the percentage of participants who receive grazoprevir + elbasvir and achieve Sustained Virologic Response after 12 weeks of therapy (SVR12) will be greater than 70%.

Tailored Regimens of PEGASYS® and Ribavirin for Genotype 1 Chronic Hepatitis C Patients Trial (TARGET-1)...

Hepatitis C

The purposes of this study are: To test if 36 weeks of standard dose of ribavirin with PEGASYS® is non-inferior to standard dose of 48 weeks of ribavirin with PEGASYS® in SVR for patients with RVR and HVL To test if the 72 weeks of treatment with PEGASYS® plus standard dose ribavirin is superior to 48 weeks of the same treatment for patients with HCV RNA seropositivity at week 12

An Open-label, Single Arm, Phase 2 Study to Evaluate ABT-450/r/ABT-267 and ABT-333 With Ribavirin...

Chronic Hepatitis C InfectionChronic Hepatitis C

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ABT-450/ritonavir/ABT-267 (ABT-450/r/ABT-267; ABT-450 also known as paritaprevir; ABT-267 also known as ombitasvir) and ABT-333 (also known as dasabuvir) coadministered with ribavirin (RBV) in hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1-infected adults taking methadone or buprenorphine ± naloxone.

Comparative Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Peginterferon BIP48 and 40kDa in Healthy Volunteers...

Chronic Viral Hepatitis C

This research protocol "Comparative pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of peginterferon Bacterial Intravenous Protein 48 kilodaltons (BIP48) and 40 kilodaltons (40kDa) in healthy volunteers." This is a Phase I clinical trial which will compare pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters, and safety of two products: peginterferon alfa-2a (PEGASYS ®) and BIP48. It will be a double-blind, randomized crossover with a rest period (wash-out) of 4 weeks. The study population will be 32 healthy male volunteers to whom will be administered a single dose of 180 microgram of each product, subcutaneously. The study will have a total duration of 14 days in each treatment step. The serum concentration of PEG-interferon for both products, measured by enzyme immunoassay (EIA) and by antiviral activity of PEG-interferon, is the main variable. For this purpose 15 samples of each volunteers will be needed. Clinical and laboratory variables, useful as pharmacodynamics parameters Beta-2 microglobulin (β2M) - 2'5'oligoadenylate synthetase - oligoadenylate synthetase (OAS)- and neopterin) and safety evaluation, will be measured.

Safety and Efficacy of Grazoprevir (MK-5172) + Elbasvir (MK-8742) in Participants With Chronic Hepatitis...

Hepatitis C Virus

This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of combination treatment with grazoprevir (MK-5172) + elbasvir (MK-8742) for cirrhotic and non-cirrhotic participants with chronic Genotype 1 (GT1) hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and chronic kidney disease (CKD). The primary study hypothesis is that the proportion of HCV GT1-infected CKD participants within the Immediate Treatment and Intensive Pharmacokinetics (PK) groups achieving a sustained viral response 12 weeks after the end of all study treatment (SVR12) will be >45%.

Open-Label Safety Study of Telaprevir and Sofosbuvir in Chronic Hepatitis C Genotype 1

Hepatitis CChronic

This is an open-label, multi center study of treatment-naive non-cirrhotic subjects with genotype 1 chronic Hepatitis C Virus. All subjects will receive telaprevir (TVR) in combination with sofosbuvir (SOF) for 12 weeks.

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of TMC435 in Combination With PegIFN Alfa-2a...

Hepatitis C

The purpose of this study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of TMC435 in combination with Peginterferon alfa-2a (PegINF alfa-2a) and ribavirin (RBV) in both treatment-naïve and treatment experienced, chronic hepatitis C (HCV) virus, genotype-4 infected patients.

First in Human Study of ALS-002200; Single Dose, Food Effect in Healthy Volunteers; Multiple Doses...

Hepatitis CChronic

This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 3-part study will assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of orally administered ALS-002200 in healthy volunteers (HV) and subjects with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) genotype 1 infection. Part 1 will assess single ascending dosing pharmacokinetics and safety in HV. Part 2 will assess food effects on pharmacokinetics in HV. Part 3 will assess multiple ascending dosing pharmacokinetics and safety in subjects with CHC genotype 1 infection.

A Triple Combination Therapy Study of Boceprevir, Pegasys and Copegus in Previously Untreated Patients...

Hepatitis CChronic

This open-label, multicenter, treatment response guided study will evaluate the sustained virological response and safety of the triple combination therapy boceprevir, Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a) and Copegus (Ribavirin) in previously untreated patients with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C. In the lead-in phase, patients will receive a dual combination therapy of Pegasys and Copegus for 4 weeks. In the following triple combination therapy phase, 800 mg boceprevir, 180 mcg Pegasys and 1000-1200 mg Copegus will be administered for 24, 32 or 44 weeks; the duration depending on the patient's treatment response. The anticipated time on study treatment is up to 48 weeks.
