A Study of RBD1016 in CHB Participants

Chronic Hepatitis b

This study consists of Part A and Part B. Part A is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study to assess the safety, efficacy, PK and immunogenicity of RBD1016 injection combined with NAs in CHB participants. Part B is a multi-center, open clinical study to assess the safety, efficacy, PK and immunogenicity of RBD1016 injection combined with PegIFN-α and NAs in CHB participants.

Study of Bepirovirsen in Nucleos(t)Ide Analogue-treated Participants With Chronic Hepatitis B (B-Well...

Chronic Hepatitis B

This study is intended to confirm the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetic (PK) profile, and the durability of hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg) suppression observed with bepirovirsen for 24 weeks (with loading doses) as compared to the placebo arm. This study will have 4 stages: a) Double-blind treatment (bepirovirsen or placebo) for 24 weeks. b) Nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) treatment for 24 weeks. c) NA cessation stage OR Continue NA for 24 weeks. d) Durability of response and follow up for further 24 weeks for participants who stopped NA treatment at Week 48. The arms will be stratified based on HBsAg level (HBsAg greater than or equal to [≥] 100 international unit per milliliter [IU/mL] to less than or equal [≤]1000 IU/mL or greater than [>] 1000 IU/mL to ≤3000 IU/mL) at screening. The total duration of the study, including screening (up to 60 days), the double-blind treatment stage (24 weeks), the On NA only stage (24 weeks), and the NA cessation and durability stages (48 weeks) is up to approximately 104 weeks at maximum for each participant.

The Effects of Vitamin D and Calcium Supplementation to Parathyroid Hormone in CHB Patients Treated...

Parathyroid HormoneTenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate3 more

Nucleot(s)ide is an antiviral drug that can reduce the number of viruses, reduce the risk of HCC, regress hepatic fibrosis and reduce death from Hepatitis B viral infection. Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) is one of nucleotide analogue that is recommended to treated patients with Hepatitis B viral infection. However, long-term TDF therapy may have side effects especially nephrotoxicity and bone toxicity. Previous studies in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infected patients who treated with TDF containing regimen antiretroviral therapy, in vitamin D supplement group had a statistic significance of low parathyroid hormone level and better in bone mineral density regardless of initial vitamin D level. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to evaluate the vitamin D and calcium supplement to patients with hepatitis B who have taken TDF, in parathyroid hormone level, bone mineral density, renal function and renal phosphate loss compared to patients who have no vitamin D and calcium supplement.

A Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Burfiralimab(hzVSF-v13) and OAD (Oral Antiviral Drug)...

Chronic Hepatitis B

This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, 48-week follow-up, Phase IIa clinical study. This study has been designed to evaluate the change in HBsAg (log10 IU/mL) after administration of hzVSF-v13 50 mg/dose and hzVSF-v13 200 mg/dose in combination with an oral antiviral agent (Tenofovir or entecavir, including salt-free or salt-modifying drugs) compared to an oral antiviral agent in combination with a placebo (normal saline) in patients with chronic hepatitis B who are stably receiving an oral antiviral agent (Tenofovir or entecavir, including salt-free or salt-modifying drugs) for at least 24 weeks.

Chronic Hepatitis B Patients With Concurrent MAFLD: Cohort Study and Exercise Intervention.

Chronic Hepatitis BNon-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

In Taiwan, HBV infection is endemic in the adult population. With the westernization of eating habit and lifestyle, metabolic syndrome and related non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases (NAFLD, newly proposed as metabolic dysfunction associated fatty liver diseases, MAFLD) has become another important health issue. It is therefore common to encounter subjects with concurrent MAFLD and HBV infection in HBV endemic countries. This project will study the clinical data of patients with concurrent MAFLD and HBV, and aim to explore the impact of exercise intervention on the hepatic fatty infiltration, alteration of gut microbiota and HBV replication status in this group of patients. The research strategies will include (1) improving fatty liver and metabolic syndrome in subjects with concurrent MAFLD and HBV; and (2) exploring the changes of HBV replication and intestinal microflora in patients with concurrent HBV and MAFLD after exercise intervention.
