3-AP and Gemcitabine in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors or Lymphoma
Anaplastic Large Cell LymphomaAngioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma58 moreThis phase I trial is studying the best dose of 3-AP and the side effects of giving 3-AP together with gemcitabine in treating patients with advanced solid tumors or lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as 3-AP and gemcitabine (GEM), work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. 3-AP may help gemcitabine kill more cancer cells by making the cells more sensitive to the drug. 3-AP may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
Study of Weekly Motexafin Gadolinium (MGd) for Patients With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or Small...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaSmall Lymphocytic Lymphoma2 moreThe primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, toxicities, dosage and response rate for an investigational drug, motexafin gadolinium, administered to patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. The secondary purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical benefit rate, the time it takes for a patient's chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma to worsen, the duration of response and the time during which patients survive without chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma worsening. Additionally, the patient's response to motexafin gadolinium will be compared to the response of the patient's cells in a laboratory to motexafin gadolinium.
Immuno-Augmentation With GM-CSF of Pneumococcal Vaccine in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patients...
LeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to see if Leukine(R) (sargramostim) improves the effectiveness of the pneumococcal vaccine, a medicine used to prevent pneumococcal pneumonia, in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
Protocol for the Treatment of Patients With Previously Untreated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThis research study will look at the effects (good or bad) of administering cyclophosphamide, fludarabine, and rituximab. Clinical studies with combination therapy have shown higher response rates than using single drugs, and this study will evaluate the side effects and effectiveness of this combination.
SPC2996 in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThe purpose of this study is to determine whether SPC2996 is effective and safe in the treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL)
A Safety Study in Patients With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
LeukemiaLymphocytic1 moreThis is an open-label, dose-escalation study to determine the tolerability, safety profile, and antitumor activity of SGN-40 in patients with CLL. All patients will receive dose escalation during the first two weeks regardless of cohort designation.
Subcutaneous Alemtuzumab (CAMPATH®, MabCampath®) in Relapsed/Refractory B-Cell Chronic Lymphocytic...
B-Cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-CLL)This is a Phase II, open-label, prospective, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneously administered alemtuzumab (CAMPATH, MabCampath) as therapy for patients with relapsed or refractory B-CLL who have been previously treated.
A Study to Confirm the Efficacy and Safety of Fludarabine Phosphate Administered in Untreated Chronic...
LeukemiaLymphocytic2 moreThe purpose of this study is to confirm the efficacy and safety of fludarabine phosphate administered with dose increasing in 6 cycles (1 cycle: 5 treatment days every 28 days) in untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients with anemia and/or thrombocytopenia.
Alemtuzumab/Fludarabine for Relapsed/Refractory B-cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-CLL)
LeukemiaLymphocytic2 moreThis is a multi-center, Phase II, open label trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of alemtuzumab and fludarabine in the treatment of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) patients who have received at least one prior therapy. Treatments will be administered on a 28-day cycle for 4-6 cycles, with an evaluation during Cycle 4 to permit re-staging. Alemtuzumab and fludarabine will be administered on Days 1-5 of each cycle. Patients will be assessed for response at the time of re-staging at Cycle 4 and at the end of Cycle 6. At the time of the re-staging, patients achieving a Partial Remission (PR) or Stable Disease (SD) will be given an additional 2 cycles of treatment and patients demonstrating presumptive signs of a Complete Remission (CR) will receive no further treatment but will be followed for response.
Fludarabine, Cyclophosphamide, and Rituximab in Treating Patients Who Have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more cancer cells. Monoclonal antibodies can locate cancer cells and either kill them or deliver cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of fludarabine plus high-dose cyclophosphamide and rituximab in treating patients who have previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
