This study will focus on the feasibility of a modified cognitive behavioral program for pain management among children and youth with cerebral palsy (CP) on developing pain coping skills and reducing pain interference levels The study design is a randomized control feasibility trial. Participants will be placed randomly into one of two groups based on chance (50/50). The 2 groups are: (1) immediate treatment group and (2) delayed wait-list treatment group. Both groups will receive the same intervention protocol.

This study is called an In Home Users Trial (IHUT). The device is called Soovu and was determined by the FDA to be Class II 510(k) except (C190061 November 2019). Relevant endpoints include ease of use, pain relief, quality of life, and long-term effectiveness.

Since the original publication on the erector spinae plane (ESP) block in 2016, the technique of the ESP block has evolved significantly in the last few years. Current reports suggest that the ESP block provides adequate analgesia in thoracic and abdominal sites in a post-surgical and chronic pain patient. However, there were still inconsistencies and unclear spread of local anesthetics in ultrasound guide ESP block. This study focusing on the spread of local anesthetic in ESP block under ultrasound and fluoroscopy and possible mechanisms of action.

Ultrasound-guided blockage of the erector plane of the spine (known as ESP BLOCK) is a recently described block and a very useful strategy in the perioperative period as it provides effective analgesia in thoracic surgery. Ultrasound-guided type II pectoral nerve block (internationally known by the acronym Pecs II block) is a very useful strategy in the perioperative period because it provides effective analgesia in breast surgeries and can optimize results. The aim of this study is to assess perioperative pain in mastectomies. This is a prospective, randomized, single-blinded study that will compare the effects of spinal erector plane block versus pectoral nerve block in patients scheduled for mastectomy. The ESP group will receive balanced general anesthesia associated with ESP BLOCK with 0.5% ropivacaine guided by ultrasound. The Pecs II group will receive balanced general anesthesia associated with Pecs II block with 0.5% ropivacaine guided by USG.

Proprioception is one constituent of a complex Sensory motor control process. Proprioception requires the reception and central integration of incoming afferent signals. Although various sensory and motor deficits have been correlated with significant functional impairment after wrist trauma, limited research exists on the effects of proprioception and multi sensory training after distal radius fracture.

The Swedish version of ASI-SR has shown good feasibility in assessment of addiction patients functioning compare to long and time-consuming ASI, which is upp to date golden standard in Sweden. This study investigate if ASI-SR is suitable instrument for the assessment of the chronic pain patient addicted to opioids. The validation process is designed according to the COSMIN guidelines. Preliminary results are expected by December 2022.
