Role of Propolis Endodontic Irrigant on Post-Operative Pain

Post-operative PainSymptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare propolis and sodium hypochlorite as endodontic irrigants in patients presenting with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. . The main question it aims to answer is: • if there is any analgesic effects of 20% Propolis compared with 5.25% NaOCl on the intensity of post-operative pain in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis using VAS pain score. Participants will undergo root canal treatment of their teeth using either 20% propolis solution or 5.25% NaOCl in their first visit of a multi-visit root canal treatment. Researchers will compare 20% Propolis and 5.25% NaOCl to see reduction in Intensity of Post-Operative Pain using visual analogue scale over 72 hour duration.

Effect of Preoperative Tramadol and Naproxen Sodium on Post Operative Pain

Symptomatic Irreversible PulpitisPost Operative Pain

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare in Tramadol, Naproxen sodium and Placebo in participants presenting with irreversible pulpitis in their mandibular posterior teeth. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: Local anesthetic efficacy and . Postoperative pain. Participants will receive premedication treatments 60 minutes prior to the local anesthesia administration. Researchers will compare Tramadol, Naproxen sodium and Placebo to evaluate their effects on Inferior alveolar nerve block efficacy and Postoperative pain.

Axillary Brachial Plexus Block Using 0.25% Bupivacaine Versus Using 0.19%Bupivacaine in Pediatrics...

Acute Postoperative PainMotor Activity

Postoperative pain is a common manifestation in orthopedic patients, mainly due to intraoperative tissue damage and inadequate intraoperative pain assessment and management .Axillary brachial plexus block provides motor and sensory block with the distribution of the median, radial, ulnar and musculocutaneous branches so can be conducted with upper limb orthopedic surgery in hand, rest and elbow surgery distal to the cubital fossa . In this study the investigators will investigate (0.19%) and (0.25%) bupivacaine for postoperative motor power recovery and post-operative analgesic efficacy in ultrasound guided axillary brachial plexus block among pediatric patient undergoing below elbow orthopedic surgery.

Effect of S-ketamine in Cesarean Section Combined Anesthesia

Postoperative Pain

To compare the anti-hyperalgesia effect between S-ketamine with placebo for Maternal receiving elective Cesarean Section under Combined spinal and epidural analgesia. Based on this study the investigators intend to verify the role and potential mechanism of S-ketamine combined anesthesia in alleviating hyperalgesia after cesarean section, prove that it can reduce hyperalgesia and postoperative pain. explore the role of S-ketamine in alleviating postoperative hyperalgesia in different PCA ways and explore the safety of S-ketamine in the perilactation

Caudal Block and Transversus Abdominis Plane Block in Pediatric Inguinal Hernia Repair

Regional AnesthesiaPostoperative Pain1 more

Pediatric inguinal hernia repair (IHR) candidates experiences ordinarily mild to moderate pain, rarely severe pain in the postoperative period. Caudal epidural block (CEB) and transversus abdominis plane block (TAPB) are two effective postoperative analgesia options. In this randomized study, it is aimed to compare the effects of CEB and TAPB on postoperative pain scores, additional analgesic requirement, postoperative nausea and vomiting incidence, procedural complications, family and surgeon satisfaction, length of hospital stay, chronic pain development in pediatric bilateral open IHR.

Comparison of Analgesia Efficacy of Transversus Abdominis Plane Block and Posterior Approach Quadratus...

Acute Post-operative PainNerve Block1 more

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer and the fifth in cancer-related deaths. Open radical retropubic prostatectomy is the most common surgical treatment for localized prostate cancer. Open radical retropubic prostatectomy is associated with moderate pain. Severe pain in the postoperative period affects the length of hospital stay and morbidity. Multimodal analgesia applications for the management of postoperative pain are the main component of post-surgical recovery. Different analgesia modalities, including systemic opioid use and neuraxial analgesia, have been used for pain control after retropubic radical prostatectomy. Side effects of systemic and intrathecal opioids limit the potential benefits of these agents. Transversus abdominis plane block and quadratus lumborum block are blocks that can be used for postoperative analgesia in the abdominal and pelvic regions. There is no study in the literature comparing the efficacy of these two blocks for postoperative analgesia in open radical retropubic prostatectomy and their effects on narcotic consumption.
