The objectives of this study were to evaluate efficacy and safety of silicone cream containing Allium Cepa extract in post-cesarean surgical scars treatment. Post-cesarean surgical scars were equally seperated into 2 parts (left part and right part). Silicone cream containing Allium Cepa extract or commercial scar gel was ramdomly assigned to apply on left part or right part of the scar. They will be applied 2 times per day (morning and evening) for 3 months. Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS) , Vancouver scar scale (VSS), melanin index, and erythema index (using cutometer) were used for scar evaluation at 0, 1,2,and 3 months. Moreover, adverse effects were also observed.

There are no universal treatment guidelines available. The ultimate purpose of the management of CSP is to simultaneously remove the pregnancy and successfully preserve the woman's fertility (Gonzalez & Tulandi, 2017). A variety of medical and surgical treatment modalities for CSP have been reported; however, most of these are based on low-level evidence(Sun et al., 2019).

The main indication is to reduce nasal width when it exceeds the intercanthal distance in Caucasian women. Other indications are the modification of the shape of the nostrils or to reduce alar flare in noses with too convex alar base. Since Wier's first description, a series of techniques has been developed with a common goal of making the basal view of the nose close to an equilateral triangle. The location and amount of tissue to be removed will be according to the preoperative or intraoperative indication due to changes in the alar base resulting from reductions in the projection of the nasal tip. One of the controversies in the literature is in the position of the incision in alar base modifications. Some authors prioritize incisions that do not violate the alar facial groove , since the groove region presents a greater number of sebaceous glands, leading to poor scarring results. Other authors have argued that incisions above the sulcus have caused more evident scars, anda that poor healing results would be more associated with aggressive resections of border and bad closing skin techniques. Due to divergence in the literature, the present study aims to compare, through a double blinded randomized clinical trial, two techniques of alar base modifications that will differentiate only by violating or not the alar facial groove.

This study is being undertaken to investigate the efficacy and safety of Juvista (given as an intradermal injection of 200ng/100µl per linear centimetre of wound margin) in the prevention or improvement of scar appearance when administered intradermally to approximated wound margins following surgical scar revision. In addition, this study will compare the scar revision techniques of complete excision (excision of the entire scar during one surgical procedure) and staged excision (excision of the outmost segments and central core separately).

Botox had been shown to inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators and peripheral neurotransmitters from sensory nerve to treat neuropathic pain. In the clinical practice, botox indeed effect in scar pain. However, investigators need well controlled study to prove this finding and assess the improvement of scar appearance.

Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP)is one of the more serious complications of pregnancies that occur after a prior cesarean delivery. No clinical guidelines have been issued for the management of CSP. More than 30 treatment methods are reported to be used in managing CSP. However, which management can achieve better clinical effects remains unknown. Therefore, this prospective study is designed to compare the outcome between MTX + transvaginal surgery and UAE + D&C in the treatment of CSP.
