Everolimus and Vatalanib in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors
GastrinomaGlucagonoma19 moreRATIONALE: Everolimus and vatalanib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Giving everolimus together with vatalanib may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of everolimus and vatalanib in treating patients with advanced solid tumors.

IMA901 in Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma Patients With Measurable Disease
Renal Cell CarcinomaThis study was conducted in order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the cancer vaccine IMA901 and GM-CSF as adjuvant in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma. Patients received vaccination with GM-CSF followed by IMA901 during the study period of 9 months. Patients received pre-treatment with a single i.v. infusion of cyclophosphamide prior to the first vaccination.

Renal Cell CancerThis single arm study will assess the efficacy and safety of Avastin in combination with interferon alfa-2a and vinblastine as first line treatment in patients with metastatic renal cell cancer. Patients will receive Avastin (15mg/kg iv) every 3 weeks, interferon alfa-2a 3 times weekly (3 Mio IU sc escalating to 18 Mio sc) and vinblastine (0.1mg/kg iv) every 3 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment is until tumor progression, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.

Safety Study of TroVax Alone vs. TroVax Plus Interferon Alpha in Patients With Renal Cancer
CarcinomaRenal CellPatients with metastatic renal cell cancer will be enrolled to receive either Trovax® alone or Trovax® plus Interferon Alfa. The study will try to determine whether the use of Trovax® will delay tumor progression.
Phase I/II Trial of RAD001 Plus Nexavar in Patients With Kidney Cancer
CarcinomaRenal CellThe purpose of this study is to see whether the combination for RAD001 and Nexavar® works better when given together than they do alone. The purpose of the first phase of this study is to determine the best dose of RAD001 given with Nexavar®, and to see what effects, good and/or bad, the study drug has on the subject and the subject's tumor. This study will also observe side effects experienced by the subject.
