The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of combining repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), gaze and gait training to improve walking and balance in people with or without mild cognitive impairment.

EFACog is a single-center prospective cohort study conducted on a single group of patients to study the feasibility of a personalized support program by a nurse conducted over 9 months, using face-to-face and telephone interviews, to prevent the occurrence of post-chemotherapy cognitive impairment. After a pre-inclusion visit, patients with no pre-existing cognitive impairment will be included in the study and will receive a 9-month follow-up after the first course of chemotherapy. All follow-up visits (telephone or face-to-face) will be scheduled in conjunction with those taking place in the care setting.

Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is a therapeutic option for patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP) syndrome, when pharmacological, psychological, physical and occupational therapies or surgery fail to reduce symptoms. CLBP is a common disease with several negative consequences on the quality of life, work and activity ability and increased costs to the health-care system. We have therefore designed this observational study to assess global cognitive functioning in three different groups of patients: patients with chronic pain undergoing intervention (experimental group), patients with chronic pain following traditional therapies (comparison group) and healthy participants matched for age and schooling (healthy subjects). A neuropsychological assessment battery designed to assess global cognitive functioning, behavioral symptomatology, metacognition, quality of life, interoception, pain perception, self-efficacy, and coping styles will be conducted.

Different cognitive rehabilitation intervention methods have been developed for the treatment of cognitive dysfunctions seen in mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of cognitive rehabilitation intervention applied with the telerehabilitation method in elderly patients with amnestic-MCI. Participants included in the study according to inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the telerehabilitation and face-to-face groups. A 12-week cognitive rehabilitation intervention was applied to both groups. Pre- and post-intervention cognitive skills of the participants were evaluated using the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment-Geriatric (LOTCA-G).

The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection has resulted, in addition to the well-known acute symptoms, in the emergence of a plethora of persistent, diffuse and heterogeneous symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath and cognitive dysfunction among others, that have come to be called persistent COVID. Patients have reported that physical activity, stress and sleep disturbances often trigger exacerbations of their symptoms related by some authors to the so-called Post Exertional Malaise (PEM) characteristic of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Similarly, by analogy with other pathologies, it has been hypothesized that optimal exercise prescription would benefit these people with persistent COVID-19 symptoms but in practice, the rehabilitation of these patients runs the risk of collapsing respiratory and physical rehabilitation services. This is why COPERIA proposes the construction of a platform for respiratory, cardiac and muscular telerehabilitation, to compare with face-to-face rehabilitation treatment and to try to predict the influence of physical activity in the prediction of PEM.

Objectives: Determination of the impact of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on the cognitive function (CF) and serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-6 and 1β levels in children aged 5-12 years and the effect of OSA management on these variables. Patients & Methods: 224 patients were evaluated using the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire, the NEPSY score for CF and Polysomnography (PSG) to grade OSA severity according to the Apnea/hypopnea index (AHI). Patients with adenotonsillar hypertrophy grade >2 will undergo the appropriate surgical intervention. Overweight or obese patients with mild or moderate OSAS will undergo 6-m trial of lifestyle intervention (LSI). Blood samples were obtained for ELISA estimation of cytokines' levels. Recent evidence has shown that transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) was effective in improving the cognitive function in healthy adult and people with dementia. However, lacking of evidence investigated the effect of TENS in improving the cognitive function and reversing the occurrence of dementia during the period of mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which is the crucial period to prevent the significant loss of cognition function. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to investigate the optimal TENS treatment protocol in improving the cognitive function in older adults with MCI.

According to the "Chinese Stroke Report" released in 2020, the incidence of stroke in China is 1114.8/100,000, acute ischemic stroke (AIS) accounts for 70% to 80% of the total number of stroke population, and elderly stroke patients are up to 2/3. About 1/3 of stroke patients would experience post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI), which seriously affected patients' quality of life and survival time, and increases disease and economic burden. Therefore, early identification, assessment, prevention and intervention of PSCI, and improvement of patients' quality of life and prognosis have become the focus of clinical research. This is a prospective cohort study. We intend to: (1) continuously collect elderly AIS patients who will be admitted to the Department of Neurology, The Department of Rehabilitation and the Department of Gerontology of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital from 2022 year to 2024 year; (2) collect baseline and follow-up data, and build a prediction model for cognitive impairment in elderly AIS patients; (3) internal validation using Bootstrap model; (4) collect the data of the elderly AIS patients who will be admitted to Shenzhen Longhua District People's Hospital andShenzhen Longgang Central Hospital, and conduct external validation; (5) evaluate the predictive efficacy of the model.

This study investigates the effects of Valaciclovir treatment to individuals with Alzheimer's disease or Mild Cognitive Impairment of Alzheimer's Disease Type. It is an open pilot trial where 36 participants will receive 4 weeks of Valaciclovir treatment. Participants will be investigated using different measures before and after the treatment period.
