CYSTIC MALFORMATION

Cohort study evaluate the efficacy treatment with OK-432 in cystic malformation of the head and neck region. The malformations are macrocystic and the preevaluation will include CT/MRI, US and blood tests. The injection will be in the OR under US guided, maximal dose will be 0.2mg. The follow-up will be of short term - till 30 days post injection and long term - follow-up wil be till 2 years.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been reported to be effective to prevent alveolar growth arrest in experimental bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). The aim is to treat the extremely premature infant with severe BPD to establish whether intratracheal instillation of umbilical cord-derived MSCs (ucMSCs) is safe and effective as a rescue treatment for severe BPD.

To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of sub retinal BSS injections in conjunction with conventional vitrectomy for refractory Diabetic macular edema (DME)- resistant to more than one anti-VEGF agent, intravitreal corticosteroids and to previous vitrectomy. Our study will evaluate the use of topical and intravenous (IV) Tranexamic Acid (TXA) in spine surgery. The purpose of TXA is to prevent clotting during surgery to reduce blood loss. When used intravenously, it has been shown to safe, efficacious, and effective in reducing transfusion requirements and blood loss in spine surgeries. We want to evaluate the effect of using TXA topically and intravenously to see if it further reduces blood loss in children undergoing major surgery compared to IV TXA only
