Investigation of U1-A Uterine Anomalies Implantation Markers From the Lateral Walls of the Endometrium...

T-Shaped UterusInfertility2 more

Various types and classes of uterine malformations have been identified and the ESHRE / ESGE classification system has recently been published on female genital system anomalies. Postoperative positive pregnancy results were obtained in studies conducted in patients with infertility, recurrent implantation failure, and recurrent pregnancy loss, which were not previously described in T-shaped uterine anomalies. Considering the increase in endometrial gland and vascularity after the surgical procedure performed in these patients, our primary goal in our study is to compare the number of implantation markers (αVβ3 integrin) and subepithelial glands in the specimen biopsies taken from the lateral walls of the endometrium before and after hysteroscopic surgery in patients with class U1a anomalies.

Double Osteotomy for Deformity Correction in Pyle Disease

Pyle Disease

Leg deformity is one of the features of Pyle disease( metaphyseal dysplasia). Correction of valgus deformity of the leg can be done after deformity analysis by double osteotomy so this study showed how double osteotomy can lead to better results than single osteotomy.

X-ray-free Protocol for Pectus Deformities Based on Magnetic Resonance 1 Imaging and a Low-cost...

Pectus Deformity

Pectus excavatum (PE) and pectus carinatum (PC) are the most frequent chest wall deformities in humans. They are usually clinically recognized in early childhood or adolescence, with aggravation during the pubertal growth spurt. PE is a depression of the anterior chest wall, most frequently involving the lower sternum. In this study we use simultaneously compared chest CT, MRI, and 3D scanning fro both PE and PC assessment . The aim of this study is to compare a standard protocol using chest CT to a non-irradiant protocol with 3D scanning and MRI. The primary endpoint was to assess the inter observer concordance and the correlation between the HI (Haller Index) evaluated with MRI and the EHI (External Haller index) evaluated with 3D scanning. The secondary endpoints were to assess the concordance with chest CT the variation of the HI evaluated in inspiration and expiration with MRI and also the correction index (CI) between chest CT and MRI in the PE group, .

External Fixator Assisted Genu Varum Correction

Deformity

Assessment of accuracy of correction of genu varum more than 20 degrees using external fixator assisted plating. Intraoperatively, the operative time needed for completion of accurate correction, torniquet use, blood loss will be assessed. Postoperative complications either early ones like infection, thromboembolic complications, peroneal nerve palsy or late post operative complications like implant failure, delayed union, non union and bone healing time will be assessed..

Supplemental Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF) in Spinal Deformity

Spinal Deformity

Within the last decade there has been an increase in the number of surgical procedures for deformities of the spine. This is caused by the increase in the elderly population, improved surgical techniques and an increased number of patients who have undergone previous surgical treatment for degenerative conditions of the spine. Surgical treatment of spinal deformities bears a revision rate between 15 and 30% depending on definition, and one of the primary reasons for revision surgery is implant loosening in the lumbosacral region. The hypothesis of the study is that a procedure resulting in anterior fusion of the lumbar spine in addition to the usual posterior instrumentation can reduce the revision rate with 50%.

Follow up of Neurologic Development of Children Who Presented at the First Trimester of Pregnancy...

Neurological Development After Exposition to an Antenatal Nuchal Translucency

Prospective, multicenter study following for 2 years, 250 children who presented during the first trimester of pregnancy an isolated nuchal translucency over the 95th percentile of Nicolaïdes Curves on ultrasound and comparing them to a control group of 250 children whose pregnancy was normal. Evaluating morbidity, mortality, growth and the neurodevelopment of each group by a Brunet Lezine scale. Evaluating anxiety and depression in parents of those children using a scale.
