The objectives of this study is to assess the characteristics and frequency of adenovirus conjunctivitis in a population of male and female patients from one year of age who present signs and symptoms of acute conjunctivitis.

This study is a mere data collection without predefined intervention. Patients aged 12 years or older who suffer from allergic rhinitis induced by house dust mites, tree pollen or grass pollen and who are treated exclusively with anti-allergic medication may take part. The treatment follows the normal medical practice in accordance with national medical guidelines. During the study, data are collected during 3 visits with regard to allergic complaints of a patient and intake of anti-allergic medication. The first visit takes place before allergen exposure, the second visit at the peak of allergen exposure and the third visit after allergen exposure. The allergen exposure is defined as the enhanced exposure to house dust mites during the heating period or the respective pollen season. During the visits, the patients will be asked to complete questionnaires with regard to their quality of life and rhinitis control. Furthermore during allergen exposure, the patients document their allergic complaints and intake of anti-allergic medication in a diary. The diary entries are used to generate the Combined Symptom and Medication Score (CSMS) which will be validated in the course of this study. The validation will be performed by comparing the CSMS with the scores from the already validated questionnaires.

Primary goal of this non-interventional study is to evaluate the change in level of allergen-specific IgE (EAST class) after allergen-specific immunotherapy with Pollinex Quattro with tree and/or grass pollen extracts and their mixtures under medial routine at adults with tree- and/or grass-medicated pollinosis.

One hundred patients were enrolled, based on sensitization and doctor-diagnosed allergy to HDM. Questionnaires were administered to document demographic and clinical characteristics. Serum IgE reactivity toDermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Dp) extract, Der p 1, Der p 2 and Der p 10 was measured by ImmunoCAP.

Ambrosia is known for its allergenicity in the USA causing hay fever and asthma. Israel has always been considered "clean" of Ambrosia but over the past years growth of Ambrosia plants has been detected in several locations in Israel. In the proposed study, patients referred for routine allergic evaluation will also be skin tested with Ambrosia allergens, in addition to their regular prick skin tests with all other airborne allergens.

This study will be used to evaluate how patients put eye drops in their eyes and any problems that may arise from this activity. The information gathered will help identify common problems patients are having with putting in their eye medications. Then doctors can be better informed about the issues and provide better advice to their patients to overcome these problems.
