Effects of Prompt to Bundle COVID-19 Booster and Flu Shot

COVID-19Vaccines

This randomized controlled trial investigates whether text-based reminders can increase the bivalent COVID-19 booster uptake and whether text-based reminders that mention the opportunity to bundle the COVID-19 booster with the flu shot within the same appointment can increase take-up of both the COVID-19 booster and the flu vaccine.

Mindfulness in Post Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (PASC) Dysautonomia

Long COVIDDysautonomia

The current pilot study will recruit participants experiencing new, returning, or ongoing symptoms related to COVID-19 illness for at least four weeks after being first infected with SARS-CoV-2. All participants will attend a virtual 6-week course entitled Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) created, hosted and led by expert facilitators from the Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). This intervention will consist of a mix of lecture, practice, group feedback, and discussion regarding mindfulness. Mindfulness is the mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present while acknowledging and accepting any feelings, thoughts, or bodily sensations. The research team will collect self-reported measures of mental health symptoms, physical health symptoms, and demographic information before and after participants attend MAPs. Objective health measures will also be collected by the research team including an active stand test, a 6-minute walk, and a blood sample.

COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake Trial

Vaccination RefusalCOVID-19

The goal of this study is to assess the best COVID-19 vaccine uptake strategy among students, staff and household members that have not been vaccinated. There is a multitude of recommendations present that highlight different vaccination strategy; however, it is still unclear which strategy is best to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates. We will compare the effectiveness and acceptance of two different communication strategies among unvaccinated students, staff, and their household members.

Effect of Telerehabilitation Practice in Long COVID-19 Patients

Long COVID-19Long COVID3 more

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the efficacy of telerehabilitation practice in Long COVID-19 patients. The main question[s] it aims to answer are whether telerehabilitation practice in Long COVID-19 patients help to reduce stress oxidative, reduce inflammation, improve functional capacity and improve quality of life. Participants will receive 12 weeks of telerehabilitation practice Researchers will compare intervention group (that received telerehabilitation) and control group (that received standard treatment) to see if there is better outcome in intervention group.

Study of the Incidence of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (COVID-19)

Coronavirus Infections

This is a prospective observational cohort study that will define the prevalence and incidence of CA-SARS-Cov2 infection using serological and PCR tests in a group of subjects during deconfinement. The team wishes to include approximately 1000 subjects in this study. The health crisis through containment has also created unprecedented environmental conditions with the very clear decrease in economic activities and a consequent decrease in exposure to the main air pollutants. The aim is therefore to carry out a case-control study in which each subject will be his or her own control in unexposed condition (to PM2.5, PM10, NO...) then exposed (after the recovery of economic activity and the usual levels of air pollutants) and to measure the impact of these pollutants on the immune system and epigenetic markers taking into account seasonality. The occurrence of infectious, cardiovascular, allergic and autoimmune events will then be measured according to the immunological profiles measured at inclusion.

Telerehabilitation in the Post-COVID-19 Patient (TRIALS)

Post-COVID-19 Syndrome

A major issue brought about by the current pandemic concerns the discontinuation of a large proportion of outpatient services provided locally, especially in the rehabilitation field. Added to this situation is the ever-increasing demand for rehabilitation for post-COronaVIrus Disease 19 (COVID-19) patients. Data show that respiratory and motor rehabilitation for people infected with COVID-19 is necessary at all stages of the disease, even in the medium to long term after discharge from acute hospital care. Also to be taken into account are the logistical difficulties imposed by restrictions on the movement of individuals within the territory for both patients and caregivers, which are amplified in remote or poorly served areas, such as many cross-border territories. In this context, telerehabilitation can provide solutions to assist healthcare facilities in managing the demand for rehabilitation in the territory using a 'digital' therapist. The main objective of this project is therefore to identify the appropriate technology to administer the rehabilitation programme to patients and apply to a group of post-COVID-19 patients a customised respiratory and/or motor rehabilitation programme to be carried out directly at the patients' home after hospital discharge in order to evaluate its effects.

Communities Fighting COVID-19!

Covid19

To create and evaluate effective COVID-19 testing uptake strategies that focus on underserved individuals who are exposed but have not accessed testing, and underserved individuals who are not routinely tested because they are unaware of their exposure or risk status in order to increase testing among these populations and reduce Covid-19 related disparities.

Evaluating the Use of Patient Navigation to Promote Timely Diagnostic Evaluation During the COVID-19...

Breast Cancer

The primary objective of this project is to evaluate the role of patient navigation in promoting timely follow-up of abnormal breast imaging findings in patient populations that have been most severely impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This project aims to assess the impact of patient navigation as an intervention tool in patient populations that are most at risk for delayed follow-up. The investigators hypothesize that patient navigation services may be an effective way to mitigate the impact of the pandemic by decreasing the risk of a delayed breast cancer diagnosis and promoting timely diagnostic follow-up.
