DepressionSequestraThis project aims to investigate the effectiveness of existing common antidepressants and to provide new evidence for depressed children and adolescents who are not responding to their first treatment.
Comparison of Aerobics and Pilates Exercises in Primigraivda Females
DepressionSleep Quality1 moreMany physical changes, as well as emotional disturbance, occur during pregnancy. In addition to external physical changes, some mental health problems such as depression, sleep and psychosis significantly increase during pregnancy. Aerobic exercises during pregnancy in primigravida females has a positive effect on depression and sleep as a primary and secondary preventive strategy. The study will be a randomized clinical trial and Setting will be children hospital and Mehmooda hospital sheikhupura. This study will be completed in ten months and convenient sampling technique will be used. Fourty two subjects will be assigned randomly by using lottery method into two groups. Group A will receive Aerobic exercises and Group B will receive Pilate exercises. Warm up (walking) and cool down period of ten minutes will be performed by both groups. Data will be collected from all participants at baseline and after 8 weeks of treatment by using CES-D and PSQI questionnaire. After assessing the data will be analyzed by using parametric or non-parametric test by using SPSS-25.
Effects of Epidural Labor Analgesia With Esketamine on the Incidence of Postpartum Depression in...
Postpartum DepressionPostpartum depression is a common psychological abnormality during the puerperium, which seriously affects maternal and neonatal health. Esketamine, the S-enantiomer of ketamine, is twice as potent as ketamine and can be safely used for cesarean section and labor analgesia. However, it is not clear whether esketamine used for epidural labor analgesia can significantly reduce the incidence of postpartum depression. This study intends to explore the incidence of maternal prenatal depression and to investigate the effect of esketamine for epidural labor analgesia on postpartum depression and maternal and neonatal outcomes in parturients with prenatal depression through a multi-center, large-scale and high-quality clinical trail, in order to provide a clinical basis and theoretical basis for the application of esketamine used for epidural labor analgesia in postpartum depression and further reduce the incidence of postpartum depression, promote maternal and infant health, and ensure maternal and infant safety .

Post-partum DepressionA randomized trial of pregnant people at risk for postpartum depression comparing the InBloom app (n = 76) to ROSE (n = 76; weekly scheduled group), and two control groups. We will assess Depression at baseline and 1, 2 and 3 months, ROI at 3 months, Satisfaction at 1 and 3 months and Perceived Access at 1 and 3 months. Subject participation will last up to 8 months (minimum 17 weeks pregnant through 3 months postpartum).
A Study of Aticaprant 10 Milligrams (mg) as Adjunctive Therapy in Adult Participants With MDD With...
Depressive DisorderMajor1 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of aticaprant compared with placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in improving depressive symptoms in adult participants with major depressive disorder (MDD) with moderate to severe anhedonia (ANH+) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).

Changing Tactics? Optimizing ECT in Difficult-to-treat Depression
DepressionThe goal of this randomized controlled trial is to address which treatment strategy (continue right unilateral (RUL) ECT or switch to bitemporal (BT) ECT speeds up recovery and has the least impact on memory function, in case of early non-response during an acute course of ECT for difficult-to-treat depression. The main questions it aims to answer are: Assess the antidepressant efficacy and cognitive impact of the continuation of an ongoing treatment with RUL ECT compared to switching the treatment technique to BT ECT, in patients failing to show an early response to an acute course of ECT for major depression; Assess group and subject-specific trajectories of depressive symptom severity and neurocognitive performance during the acute ECT course and up to 3 months post-treatment. Participants treated with ECT for depression, showing no 'response' (≥50 percent decrease in depressive symptom severity compared to baseline) after 4 treatment sessions, will be randomized to either switch to BT ECT or continue with RUL ECT. Mood and neurocognitive assessments will be performed at baseline, after 4 ECT sessions (before randomization), after 8 ECT sessions, at the end of the acute course and 3 month after the acute course.
Study of Lumateperone as Adjunctive Therapy in the Treatment of Patients With Major Depressive Disorder...
Major Depressive DisorderThis is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled parallel-group, fixed-dose study in patients with a primary diagnosis of MDD according to criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) who have an inadequate response to ongoing ADT.
Efficacy and Safety of Auricular Acupuncture in Depression During the Covid 19 Pandemic
Depressive SymptomsDepression3 moreParticipants with moderate depressive symptoms measured by PHQ-9 will be randomized to receive auricular acupuncture. The triple blinded procedure will be conducted in 12 sessions (6 weeks). The primary outcome is the response to the treatment 3 months after inclusion.
