Study on the Optimal Diagnosis and Treatment Strategy of Major Depressive Disorder Based on Anhedonia...
Outpatients / Inpatients With DepressionThis study is a multicenter clinical research and focuses on the exploring of optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies of MDD based on anhedonia.

Smartphone App Based CBT Versus Online Group CBT: Randomized, Non-inferiority Clinical Trial
Depressive DisorderMajorThe present research project aims to compare the efficacy and safety of an intervention based on a smartphone application, which uses CBT techniques, to online group cognitive behavioral therapy (CBCT), in improving depressive symptoms. The project also has supplemental analysis to predict who will respond to the CBT intervention using the application. For this analysis, machine learning algorithms, a set of techniques from the field of artificial intelligence, will be used to create a predictive calculator for response to interventions. The analysis protocol used for this analysis will be in accordance with that proposed in task Force of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders.

Strengthening Families Living With HIV in Kenya
ARTHiv6 moreThis study seeks to use a group-based microfinance/internal lending model to develop social capital among people with HIV in Kenya. This will create a context to deliver validated curriculum targeting intimate partner violence, positive parenting, agriculture, small business entrepreneurship, group-interpersonal therapy, and other determinants of well-being and ART adherence among people with HIV. The primary outcomes are viral suppression, ART adherence, and common mental disorders.

Waitlist-Control Trial of Smartphone CBT for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
Major Depressive DisorderThe investigators are testing the efficacy of Smartphone-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment for major depressive disorder (MDD). The investigators hypothesize that participants receiving app-CBT will have greater improvement in SIGH-D scores than those in the waitlist condition at treatment endpoint (week 8).

Transcranial Photobiomodulation for the Treatment of Pediatric Depression
DepressionAn open label trial to assess the safety and efficacy of transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) in improving symptoms of depression in youth.

Online System for Identifying and Addressing Teen Depression in Primary Care
Major DepressionDysthymia1 moreA novel web-based module (Teen Depression Module or TDM)has been created for assisting primary care providers (PCPs) in screening for and addressing and referring teens with depression. This is a cluster randomized Quality Improvement study to determine if use of the TDM that includes collecting information on strengths and goals as part of well child care will improve detection of depression, referral success, and teen's use of alternative helping strategies with resulting improvement in depression symptoms.

Self-help Lifestyle Medicine App and Booklets for Depression
DepressionThis study aims to compare self-help lifestyle medicine (LM) delivered by a smartphone app and booklets in managing depressive symptoms in a Chinese population. This study is a randomised controlled trial. First, informed consent will be obtained from potential participants. Around 90 eligible participants will be randomly assigned to either the LM app group, the LM booklet group, and the waitlist control group, in a ratio of 1:1:1. The app group will receive an app to facilitate lifestyle modification such as video demonstrations of physical activity, diet recommendations, stress and sleep management. The booklet group will receive 8 LM booklets with identical content with the LM app. The waitlist control group will receive access to the app and booklets at the end of the study. The whole intervention lasts 8 weeks. Participants will also receive 2 messages per week from the researcher to check and prompt motivation and adherence. Participants will complete assessment before, immediately after intervention, at one month and 12-week follow up.

DEPLIPIDO Study: Functional and Lipidomic Analysis of Plasma HDL in Patients With Depression Compared...
DepressionDepression is a disabling condition in terms of psychosocial alteration and also in terms of physical comorbidities. Depression doubles the risk of myocardial infarction compared with the general population, and this cardiovascular comorbidity leads to an increase in mortality in patients suffering from depression, even exceeding suicide-related mortality. It is therefore important to better understand the mechanisms linking depression and cardiovascular disease. Among the hypotheses that may account for the increased cardiovascular risk in patients with depression, lipid abnormalities are likely to play a crucial role. Thus, qualitative and functional abnormalities in HDL lipoproteins are an important line of research, insofar as these lipid abnormalities have been recognized as important atherogenic abnormalities in populations at high cardiovascular risk, which is the case of patients with depression. In this clinical, epidemiological and scientific context, a collaborative study undertaken by both the Department of Psychiatry of the Dijon Bourgogne University Hospital of and the INSERM LNC-UMR 1231 (PADYS) Laboratory of the UNIVERSITY OF BOURGOGNE FRANCHE-COMTE is an original translational research project, and the first study to perform a lipidomic analysis of HDL, coupled with a functional analysis of these lipoproteins in depression.

The Efficacy And Safety Of Mitizodone Phosphate Tablets In The Treatment of Patient With Major Depressive...
Depressive DisorderMajorThis is a phase 2 and 3 adaptive design study for Mitizodone Phosphate,to find out an optimal dose in phase 2 period and confirm the result an efficacy and safety in phase 3 period.Dose-finding will be done after 8 weeks of double-blinded treatment in phase 2 period and will be assessed by both efficacy and safety from 3 dose groups of Mitizodone Phosphate. The dose be found in phase 2 period will be evaluated on efficacy and safety when compared with placebo in phase 3 period with a duration of 8 weeks treatment. The target subjects are patients with MDD.
