Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) Result Prediction Factors in Children With Allergic Diseases...
AsthmaAllergic Rhinitis1 moreIn about 800 children with allergic diseases (asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis) the investigators will retrospectively and cross-sectionally analyze the influence/correlation of diagnosis, treatment methods, allergy status (skin prick test results), lung function tests results on/with the concentration of nitric oxide in exhaled breath.
Evaluating for Contact Allergies in Patients With Chronic Urticaria
UrticariaPatch Testing3 moreHives affects 10-25% of the population worldwide at some time during their lifetime. Hives are itchy transient swellings of the skin lasting 4-36 hours. Chronic urticaria is defined as hives that have been ongoing for six weeks or more. Patch testing is performed to diagnose allergic contact dermatitis, and if contact allergens are found via patch testing, patients can often be cured of their dermatitis. However, patch testing is currently not routinely performed in the evaluation of patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria. Our hypothesis is to see if contact allergens can be identified with patch testing in patients with chronic urticaria, and, if any allergens are identified, to see if avoiding these contact allergens will make the chronic urticaria go away.
Use of Probiotic Bacteria in Prevention of Allergic Disease in Children 1999-2008
Atopic DermatitisFood Hypersensitivity4 moreThe aim of the study is to find out if allergic diseases can be prevented buy giving probiotic bacteria to pregnant mothers and their newborn infants
Molecular and Cellular Characterization of Spongiotic Dermatitis
Atopic DermatitisPsoriasis1 moreSpongiotic dermatitis is the histopathologic diagnosis commonly issued by dermatopathologists that encompasses atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and other forms of eczematous dermatitis. The information obtained will assist in development of diagnostic methods for differentiation of the types of spongiotic dermatitis. This study also has the potential to lead to the dissection of pathologic pathways involved in these diseases and development of novel therapeutic agents.
Quaternium-15, Use Test
Allergic Contact Dermatitis Towards Quaternium-15The study is required by the FDA as part of a post-marketing commitment. The purpose of the study is to compare the reactivity of the TRUE Test quaternium-15 patch and a real use exposure. The subjects will wear the patch test for 48 hours and reading will be performed day 3 or 4. The use test will be applied from day 3 or 4 and untill reaction appears. Reactions from respectively TRUE Test and use test will be compared using the McNemar Change Test.
Scratch Behavior Under Standard of Care
Atopic DermatitisWrist-worn accelerometers and associated data analysis platforms will provide quantitative and qualitative knowledge regarding the action of scratching and sleep quantity in a symptomatic Atopic Dermatitis (AD) population. The overall research aim is to evaluate the sensitivity of digital devices to capture drug-induced (standard of care treatments; SOC) quantitative changes in nighttime scratch and sleep quantity in AD subjects. In the current study, the investigators aim to evaluate the ability of wrist-worn accelerometers to detect significant and clinically meaningful changes in scratch behavior and sleep quantity in patients with symptomatic AD aged 2 to 75 years, receiving topical SOC treatment for AD. To evaluate this experimental paradigm, using wearable accelerometers, traditional patient-reported outcome measures/observer-reported outcome (ObsRO) (PRO/ObsRO), thermal videography and physician assessments of AD will be assessed in a well-controlled observational methodology study that has both an in-patient and out-patient portions within the study.

Comparison of Scalp Microbiota of the Psoriasis and Seborrheic Dermatitis Patients
Psoriasis VulgarisSeborrheic Dermatitis1 moreA sterile swap specimen taken from the scalp of the patients with psoriasis vulgaris or seborrheic dermatitis and the volunteer control group will be examined in our study. The examples of the microbiota of the patients will be taken both the lesional scalp and the lesion-free part of the scalp. Then, the microbiota differences between the lesioned scalp and the lesion-free scalp of both groups, and the microbiome differences between the two groups and the control group will be evaluated.

Atopic DermatitisThis study evaluates the influence of different triggers on atopic dermatitis manifestation in children under 3 years old.
A Study to Assess the Reliability/Feasibility of Using Emerald Touchless Sensor for Scratching and...
Dermatitis AtopicPrimary objective: To explore and quantify the association between nighttime scratching and sleep patterns objectively in pediatric participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) using an innovative Emerald touchless sensor. Secondary objective: To evaluate the feasibility of using the Emerald touchless sensor in a pediatric clinical trial setting.
