Randomized Controlled Trial of Digital Twin Precision Treatment: A Novel Whole Body Digital Twin...

Type 2 Diabetes

This is a randomized study comparing outcomes of patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) who are enrolled into the Twin Health Precision Treatment (TPT) system versus usual care. The study will last for a year with a 1 year optional extension for the TPT arm patients to continue for another year, and for the usual care (UC) patients to cross over to the TPT treatment for a year. 150 patients will be enrolled with 100 being randomized to the TPT arm and 50 being enrolled to the UC arm

A Study to Assess the Effect of Food on HR20033 and Pharmacokinetic After Multiple Dose in Healthy...

Type II Diabetes

According to the objective, the trial is constituted by two study groups: one is food effect assessment group, and another is multiple dose pharmacokinetic assessment group. The primary objective is to (1) assess the effect of a meal (light-fat) on the single-dose PK of SHR3824 and metformin administered in the HR20033 FDC tablet in healthy Chinese subjects; (2) to characterize the single-dose and steady-state PK of SHR3824 and metformin following administration of the HR20033 FDC tablet to healthy subjects in the fed state. The secondary objective is to assess in healthy Chinese subjects, the safety and tolerability of the SHR3824 and Metformin after single doses (administered in the fed and fasted states) and multiple doses (administered in the fed state) of the HR20033 FDC tablet.

Efficacy and Safety of iGlarLixi Versus Insulin Glargine Plus Dulaglutide in Patients With Type...

Type 2 Diabetes MellitusGlucose1 more

The investigators aimed to compare efficacy and safety of IGlarLixi and insulin glargine plus dulaglutide as intensification from basal insulin with metformin, in the absence of head-to-head trials.

GLP-1 and Hypoglycemia

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Low blood sugar can negatively affect how blood vessels function, and this can lead to an increase in the risk for heart attacks, strokes and other problems related to the stiffening and blockage of blood vessels. The purpose of this study is to learn if and how glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1; a naturally occurring hormone in the gut) changes the effects that low blood sugar levels have on blood vessels.

Renal Actions of Combined Empagliflozin and LINagliptin in Type 2 diabetES

Type2 Diabetes

The current study aims to explore the clinical effects and mechanistics of mono- and combination therapy with SGLT-2 inhibitor empagliflozin and DPP-4 inhibitor linagliptin on renal physiology and biomarkers in metformin-treated T2DM patients.

Intensified Multifactorial Intervention in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes and Microalbuminuria

Type 2 Diabetes

The purpose of this study is to determine whether intensified multifactorial intervention comprising both behaviour modification and polypharmacy can reduce the risk for late diabetic complications compared to standard treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes and microalbuminuria.

Effect of Dihydromirycetin on Glycemic Control, Insulin Sensitivity and Insulin Secretion in Type...

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Dihydromyricetin has demonstrated promising effects in glycemic control, insulin sensitivity and insulin secretion, that above mentioned findings show that dihydromyricetin has an excellent potential effect in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.

Surgical Innovation for Diabetes Treatment

ObesityDiabetes Mellitus1 more

This study will determine how two variants of gastric bypass induce changes in dynamic endocrine response in the fasting and post-prandial state, both before and at different time points after the surgical interventions. This study will monitor the endocrine dynamics after different anatomical modifications produced by Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedures in diabetic participants and normoglycemic participants, to gain insights into the mechanisms beyond the metabolic improvement after the two surgical variants through participants re-evaluation at different time points.
