The Effect of Pelvic Floor Exercise on Urinary Incontinence and Quality of Sex Life
Pelvic Floor Muscle WeaknessUrinary IncontinenceThis physiotherapist-guided group training programme should be performed in both the supine and the sitting positions; it is investigated, which is better and more cost-effective in patient motivation.
Long-term Effectiveness of Non-ablative Er: YAG Laser for Treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence...
Stress Urinary IncontinenceStudy is designed to assess the long-term clinical effects and safety profile of non-ablative Er:YAG (IncontiLase®) laser treatment, the durability of the results and the optimal treatment regimen for mild-to-severe stages of genuine female stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
Transobturator Urethral Sling Placement With an Autologous Rectus Facia
Stress Urinary IncontinenceSurgery--ComplicationsThe investigators aimed to evaluate outcomes of transobturator urethral sling placement using autologous rectus fascia for female stress urinary incontinence at perioperatively and at 2-year follow-up.
The Efficacy of Graminex® Flower Pollen Extracts in Healthy Women With Urinary Incontinence
Urinary IncontinenceThe primary objective of this study is to investigate the effect of Graminex® Flower Pollen Extracts in healthy women with urinary incontinence. The change in severity of urinary incontinence between baseline and 24 weeks will be assessed by an International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form (ICIQ-SF), and compared between the investigational product and placebo groups. Additionally, the safety and tolerability of Graminex® Flower Pollen Extracts, as compared to placebo, will be measured by the occurrence of and/or changes in treatment-emergent adverse events (AEs).
The Efficacy of Injectable Platelet-rich Fibrin in the Treatment of the Female Stress Urinary Incontinence...
Urinary IncontinenceTreatmentWe aimed to evaluate the efficacy of locally applied injectable platelet-rich fibrin in women with stress urinary incontinence. We searched whether there was a decrease in the severity of urinary incontinence after the injection of platelet-rich fibrin. The participants will answer questionnaires about urinary incontinence before and after the injectable platelet-rich fibrin treatment.
Effects of Hypopressive Exercises in Comparison With Routine Pelvic Floor Exercises in Women With...
Urinary IncontinenceThe aim of our study is to compare the effects of hypopressive exercises with routine pelvic floor exercises in improving the frequency and severity of urinary incontinence in women and also to enhance their quality of life as it worsens after childbirth, pregnancy, and in older age.
Cystic Fibrosis and Urinary Incontinence
Urinary IncontinenceCystic FibrosisEvaluate the feasibility of a randomized controlled trial of non-surgical urinary incontinence (UI) management options for women with CF. The investigators will complete a pilot, feasibility study (n=30) to compare tolerability and symptom relief in women with CF and UI. Subjects will be recruited from the University of Pittsburgh Cystic Fibrosis Center after demonstrating bother from UI on initial phone script. Participants will undergo UI questionnaires and undergo a pelvic examination, non-invasive bladder scan ultrasound and a provocative stress test and then be randomized to either a disposable urethral support device (Impressa®), an absorbent product (Speax Reusable Underwear), or Pelvic floor muscle therapy. The primary outcome will be to determine the feasibility and tolerability of these options. Hypothesis: All three non-surgical UI management options for women are feasible (as measured by 80% adherence to treatment assignment over 7 days) and tolerable (as measured by patient report via questionnaire). The results from the proposed aims will provide important information about the experiences and symptom burden of women with CF and UI. Importantly, the investigators will also be able to answer the important questions of "Can it work?" and "Does it work?" as the investigators seek to construct the definitive, adequately powered trial of these therapies in women with CF and UI.
Efficacy and Safety of Gefapixant (MK-7264) in Women With Chronic Cough and Stress Urinary Incontinence...
Chronic CoughThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gefapixant, in improving symptoms of cough-induced stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in adult female participants with refractory or unexplained chronic cough. The primary hypothesis is that gefapixant is superior to placebo in reducing the frequency of cough-induced SUI episodes over 12 weeks.
The Nolix Feasibility Efficacy and Safety Study
Stress Urinary IncontinenceThis study is an open label, prospective, feasibility study with the Nolix device used for temporary treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) in subjects, serving as their own controls.
Minimally Invasive Burch Colposuspension to Reduce Occult Stress Incontinence
Pelvic Organ ProlapseUrinary Incontinence,Stress4 moreThis study evaluates the addition of a laparoscopic Burch colposuspension procedure at the time of laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy to prevent stress urinary incontinence. Half of the participants will undergo Burch colposuspension procedure at the time of sacrocolpopexy, and half of the participants will undergo sacrocolpopexy alone.
