The Ability of Adipose Flap Over the NVB to Improve Sexual and Urinary Function Following Radical...
Prostate CancerErectile Dysfunction1 moreDespite technological advances, incontinence and impotence remain significant side effects of radical prostatectomy (RP). Strategies have been developed to reduce the injury to the erection nerves (i.e. neurovascular bundle - NVB)during surgery to further improve functional outcomes after RP. Adipose tissue is known for its stabilizing and even healing potential. These features include reducing the inflammatory process and improving blood supply to an injured nerve. We hypothesized that covering the NVB with periprostatic fat during surgery may potentially improve neural recovery and enhance functional recovery after RP. We sought to examine our hypothesis in a randomized controlled trial.
Dietary Nitrate and Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile DysfunctionAn expanding number of studies suggest a therapeutic role for nitrate and nitrite, most notably in treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease including ischemia-reperfusion injury and hypertension. The nutritional aspects of these cardioprotective effects are particularly intriguing since nitrate is abundant in our everyday diet. Nitrate improves vascular functions in old adults and improves ischemia reperfusion injury in experimental models. Whether dietary nitrate improves erectile dysfunction is not known and will be investigated in the present study.
Blood Types and Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile DysfunctionThe researchers aimed to investigate the relationship between ABO blood types and erectile dysfunction.
Role of Intima-media Thickness in Determining Arteriogenic Erectile Dysfunction

Vascular Changes Of Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy
Prostatic NeoplasmsErectile Dysfunction Following Radical ProstatectomyA study designed to evaluate vascular changes after radical laparoscopic prostatectomy using Doppler ultrasound and the impact of such changes on erectile function and quality of life of patients. The baseline study will be compared with the study one year after surgery.
Sexual Function in Patients Suspected of Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer
Urinary Bladder NeoplasmsSexual Dysfunction5 moreThe purpose of the study is to investigate sexual function in patients suspected of non muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). The investigators hypothesis is that reduced sexual function is underdiagnosed in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and that active examination and treatment may worsen the sexual function.
Studying the Incidence of Erectile Dysfunction in Patients Complaining of Congenital Penile Curvature...
To Assess Erectile Function in Patients Complaining of Congenital Penile CurvaturePatients complaining of congenital penile curvature were subject to Penile duplex study to assess their curvature. Their penile duplex data including Peak Systolic velocity, End Diastolic velocity and Resistivity index were recorded as well as their assessing the degree of curvature and the quality of their erection using the erection hardness grading scale.
Satisfaction With Phosphodiesterase 5 Inhibitors Treatment In Patients With Cardiovascular Risk...
Erectile DysfunctionEvaluate satisfaction in people treated with IPDE5 inhibitors over time
Sexual Dysfunction and Dental Care
DyspareuniaHypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder2 moreEvaluation of sexual functioning of patients at the Sexual Medical Center, at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. Sexual functioning shall be compared with their dental behavior. Hypothesis: a positive association will be found.
Serum Levels of 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D in Patients With Moderate and Severe Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile DysfunctionIn present study, we aimed to investigate the association between erectile function severity of serum 25-Hydroxyvitamin-D and cut-off level to treat men with erectile dysfunction.
