A Study to Gain Information How Well Dexpanthenol Dermal Spray Helps the Face Skin to Recover After...
ErythemaSkin RecoveryIn this study, researchers want to learn more about the effect of dexpanthenol dermal spray on skin recovery and reduction of skin redness after a dermatological procedure (non-ablative laser) on the face for treatment of fine wrinkles, scars, open pores and change of pigmentation. After the dermatological procedure, participants will return within 3 weeks for 4 visits to the study center to investigate the skin conditions such redness, irritation, softness and possible side effects. In addition, study participants will be asked about their general acceptance of dexpanthenol dermal spray.
Effects of Phytonutrients on Vascular Health and Skin in Obese Males
ErythemaInflammationThis study will determine the effects of beneficial compounds of plant foods, such as pomegranate on cardiovascular health, skin inflammation and aging. This will be tested by asking healthy males to eat a high fat ground beef patty with 8oz. pomegranate juice or 8oz placebo (a study product that looks like pomegranate juice, but contains no active ingredients) and then measuring blood vessel dilation (endothelial function) by blood flow. The investigators also will measure the amount of Nitric Oxide (NO) in blood and urine samples and sugar and insulin in blood. In addition, a Cutometer, a device that measures the elasticity of the skin, will be used to obtain measurements of skin inflammation and aging. Healthy men have been chosen for this study because eating high fat hamburger patties can easily mimic in them the condition that causes atherosclerosis. The results from this study may help to explain how high fat foods can be harmful to the body and how beneficial plant foods can have on cardiovascular function and the skin.
Evaluation of a Novel Amino Acid Based Moisturizing Cream as Part of the Daily Standard Skincare...
ErythemaRadiation Therapy1 moreThe goal of this clinical study is to evaluate a novel amino acid based moisturizing cream as part of the daily standard skincare regimen recommended during radiation therapy. The main aim of this study is to assess if the investigational product can improve skin redness associated with radiation therapy. Participants will apply a moisturizer daily during the course of their prescribed radiation therapy for breast cancer. Researchers will compare against the standard of care.
Duration of Doxycycline Treatment in EM Patients
Erythema Chronicum MigransThe purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of 7-day versus 14-day doxycycline treatment in patients with erythema migrans.

RosaceaPhase 3 efficacy and safety study of CD07805/47 topical gel in subjects with facial erythema associated with rosacea. The study hypothesis is that CD07805/47 gel, applied topically once daily is more efficacious than vehicle and provides an acceptable safety profile in the treatment of facial erythema associated with rosacea.

RosaceaErythemathe study will measure the decrease in redness on the face of rosacea subjects
Comparison of Doxycycline and Cefuroxime Axetil in Erythema Migrans
Erythema Chronicum MigransA European, prospective clinical trial in which doxycycline and cefuroxime axetil were compared in the treatment of adult patients with erythema migrans included a control group to address this question. Evaluations of patients were conducted at baseline, 14 days and 2, 6, and 12 months after enrollment. Control subjects were evaluated at baseline and at 6 and 12 months. Subjective complaints that newly developed or intensified since the onset of erythema migrans or since the date of enrollment for controls were referred to as "new or increased symptoms"(NOIS).
Performance of Different Application Regimens of ACTINICA® on Protection From UVR-induced Erythema...
Healthy SubjectsMale or Female4 moreStudy objective To assess the performance of different application regimens of Actinica® on protection from UV rays-induced erythema throughout 1 day of sun exposure in fair-skinned healthy subjects (phototype I to III). Study centers A total of 20 subjects will be enrolled in 1 site in France. Methodology This will be a monocentre, randomised, controlled, investigator-blind, intra-individual comparative clinical investigation. There will be a total of 6 visits for each subject. Each subject will participate for a period of maximum 35 days. Study population Healthy subjects, male or female, at least 18-60 years old, with phototype I, II or III, not pre-treated/pre-protected skin, meeting specific inclusion/exclusion criteria. The clinical investigation will be conducted in 2 parts. Part 1 - SPF determination: To determine the SPF of Actinica® with application of two different amounts (0.8 and 2 mg/cm2). Part 2 - Sun exposure: To assess the performance of the different application regimens of Actinica® on protection from UVR-induced erythema throughout 1 day of sun exposure.
UV Exposure Assessed With Wearable Sensor and Sun Protection
SunburnErythema1 moreThe goal is to prevent ultraviolet light (UV) overexposure by providing consumers with relevant, easy-to-access, specifically actionable information. This research proposal will develop a UV protection system consisting of an automated real-time counseling framework and a personal dosimeter that overcomes barriers to consumer adoption. These new, wearable sensors take the form of small (< 1 cm), thin (<0.1 mm), lightweight (<0.1 g), battery-free "stickers" that are fundamentally differentiated from other wearable electronics in their modes of use, cost structures and accuracy.
Culture Media for Borrelia Burgdorferi Sensu Lato
Erythema MigransThe main purpose of this study is to compare effectiveness of two different culture media for cultivation of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato from skin specimens obtained from patients with erythema migrans.
