The human gut microbiome has been associated with many health factors but variability between studies limits the exploration of effects between them. This study aims to systematically characterize the gut microbiota of various critical chronic diseases, compare the similarities and differences of the microbiome signatures linked to different regions and diseases, and further investigate their impacts on microbiota-based diagnostic models.

Mounting preclinical and clinical evidences have proved the causal role of gut microbiota on the pathogenesis of primary hypertension. Restoration of gut microbiota ameliorated high BP in rodents and/or human cases.A hypothesis is thus raised that gut microbiome restoration can be a potential approach to ameliorate hypertension. This study will perform intense fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) intervention via oral capsules, in comparison with placebo capsules, to investigate the effect, safety and underlying mechanisms of gut microbiome intervention on primary hypertension.

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of remote ischemic conditioning in the treatment of essential hypertension.

To reveal the potiential effects of SLXMKC on vascular function and structure of patients with grade 1 hypertension. The main purpose of this observation study is to collect data on the effects and side effects for 12 weeks of the medication administration of the single-pill combinations, which are fimasartan/amlodipine or fimasartan/amlodipine/hydrochlorothiazide, based on fimasartan. (Stage 1). The purpose of this study is to better understand the cardiovascular effects of the vasodilatory peptide Angiotensin (1-7) in human hypertension. In this study, the investigators will test the hypothesis that systemic Angiotensin (1-7) infusion produces negligible effects with intact baroreceptors, and that the cardiovascular effects of this peptide are unmasked following elimination of baroreflex buffering.
