RCT with two arms: (1) stretch fascia plantaris (6 weeks, n=30) (2) control (n=30); Outcome parameters: ROM ankle and first toe; visco-elastic behaviour of the fascia plantaris determined by means of myotonometry Study protocol: Outcome parameters were evaluated before and after the intervention/control with a 6 weeks interval. All participants were screened bilaterally and for the participants assigned to the intervention group stretching was only performed on the dominant side

The investigators will compare Achilles tendon stretching with a new product called a ThermaWedge™ device, a foam wedge designed to help with certain foot stretches and exercises, in the treatment of chronic plantar fasciopathy. There will be 2 groups each of 25 - 30 participants who have chronic plantar fasciopathy, which is a common cause of foot pain. Exercises will be done for 6 weeks and then each group will do the other exercise protocol for another 6 weeks. Participants will fill out the Foot and Ankle Disability Index scale and numerical analog pain scale and the Global Rating of Change Scale prior to any treatment, weekly during treatment and post treatment. The investigators' hypothesis is that use of the ThermaWedge™ device will result in decreased pain and disability when compared to achilles tendon stretching.

Double-blinded feasibility study for the treatment of pain related to chronic plantar fasciitis. A total 37 patients (27 treated and 12 control/sham treated) received 2 treatments, 2 weeks apart on subcutaneous plantar fascia musculoskeletal tissue along with Standard of Care treatments as prescribed by the Principal Investigator. Patients were followed for up to 6 months after the first treatment receiving a physical exam at each follow-up visit (4, 8 and 12 weeks) and provided feedback via Patient/Subject Reported Outcome Measure surveys specific to the treated anatomy at each visit and via phone follow-up at 26 weeks after the first treatment.

Pressure offloading is often considered the most crucial aspect in healing after a foot injury. The investigators have devised a novel foot offloading device (PopSole™) which will allow for customization of the area where there is foot pain, as well as allow for customizable arch support and elevation of the metatarsals. This validation study is aimed to assess improvement of pain with use, ease of use, fit and feel, compliance, and durability over a 4 week period. Validated patient reported outcome measures will be used at baseline, 2 weeks and 4 weeks.

It was aimed to compare the pain and functional results of ESWT, kinesiotherapy and corticosteroid injection in patients with treatment-resistant plantar fasciitis.

This is a study investigating treatment of plantar fasciitis (heel pain). Physicians commonly prescribe specialized orthoses (shoe inserts) to treat heel pain. This study will evaluate the reduction in heel pain associated with three types of orthoses. It is hypothesized that custom made orthoses will significantly decrease pain and improve foot function in comparison to prefabricated insoles and sham insoles.

The Dynamic Tape ® (DT) is a new Tape (2009). Dynamic tape ® is a visco-elastic nylon tape material , greater than 200% elastic has manufactured in Asia. The material and adhesive arefast drying and breathable meaning that the tape, if it is correctly applied may stay on for up to 5 days, bearingin mind that if any discomfort, itching, burning, stinging orirritation is felt immediate removal is strongly advised. Usually tapes are applied in plantar fasciitis to improve the symptoms. The fasciitis plantar is an pain that sometimes incapacitates the physical activity of the patients.

Honey is super saturated solution containing sugar derived from nectar gathered by honeybee. Honey is viscus supersaturated solution mainly composed of sugar and water along with minor constituents such as minerals, vitamins, amino acids, organic acids, flavonoids, and other phenolic compound and aromatic substances. Honey contents according to percentages are fructose 38.6%, glucose 31%, water 17%, lactose 7.2%, larger sugars 4.7% and rest of micronutrients and elemental compounds are 1.5%. Honey enhances wound healing by removing slough and necrotic tissue from wound. It promotes wound healing by increasing angiogenesis, granulation and epithelization. Honey possess antimicrobial activity against bacteria like methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus, vancomycin resistant Escherichia Coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa, and many other species. It also has activity against some yeast species such as aspergillus and penicillium. Honey used for dressing will be 'Langnese Honey". Langnese honey is raw honey / unprocessed packed as collected, quality and quantity will be same for patients.
