Clinical Investigation EUCLIDES-01 for the Calculation of the Area of Skin Lesions
Skin LesionTraumatic Ulcer10 moreThe aim of this clinical investigation is to collect skin lesion area data for the comparison of the agreement among the results obtained between the following three wound area measurement methods: Ruler using the Kundin method, Investigational software Clinicgram Euclides Digital planimetry with Adobe Photoshop The clinical data retrieved in this study will allow the clinical validation of the safety and safety of the investigation software Clinicgram Euclides.
Outpatient Nurse Managed Counseling Program for Patients With Diabetic Foot Ulceration: a Pilot...
Diabetic Foot UlcerThe purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of a physician directed nurse managed earlier outpatient counselling intervention for patients with diabetic foot ulceration. For the purpose effectiveness is defined in two ways.1) as a reduction in hospital readmissions for complication for foot ulcers such as amputation or increased severity of the ulcer and 2) reduction in amputations, readmission rates. Selected covariates (self-efficacy,self-management, social support and depression) will be included to estimate predictors for readmission and amputation.
BE Study of Metformin GSK 500mg
Diabetic FootA randomized, balanced, open label, crossover, two period, two treatment, two sequence, single dose, oral bioequivalence study under fasting condition. It is a pivotal study. To demonstrate the bioequivalence of Metformin 500 mg tablets manufactured by Savipharm J.S.C, Vietnam and Glucophage® 500 mg tablets of MERCK SANTE in healthy adult human male subjects under fasting condition and to monitor the safety of the study subjects.
Comparative Study of Amniotic Membrane Wound Graft In the Management of Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Diabetic Foot UlcerThe purpose of this study is to determine whether the EpiFix human amniotic membrane is effective in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.
Cutaneous Microcirculation and Diabetic Foot
Diabetic Foot Proned Patients15% of diabetics have a diabetic foot (DF) in their lives associated with a risk of amputation and mortality two times greater than that of a diabetic population without DF. Predicting the occurrence of an DF is limited and only the occurrence of a diabetic wound up involved assessment and treatment. Our team is behind the discovery of the Pressure-Induced Vasodilation (PIV) first observed in healthy subjects after local application of a gradual pressure on the skin leading to cutaneous vasodilation at the application of pressure. This gain in blood flow delays the onset of ischemia. However the involvement of PIV in the DF, which is also a pressure-induced skin lesion, remains to be demonstrated in diabetic subjects. The main objective of this study is to show that PIV, a functional examination of the cutaneous microcirculation we developed, is altered in the presence of DF, taking into account the influence of age and neuropathy.

Diabetic PolyneuropathyDiabetic Foot1 moreThis study was planned to examine the effect of home-based mini trampoline exercise program on diabetic foot care behavior and diabetic polyneuropathy in Type 2 diabetes patients.
Reflexology and Quality of Life
Diabetic FootThis is a randomized, controlled and blind clinical trial with 60 type 2 diabetes patients divided into 2 groups of 30 patients each, Control Group (CG) and Treatment Group (TG). The TG will receive self-care guidelines with feet and 12 sessions of foot reflexology, while the CG will only receive the guideline.
Effectiveness of Buerger Allen Exercise Among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients With Foot Ulcer...
Diabetic Foot UlcersThis study was conducted to determine the effect of Buerger Allen exercises on lower extremity perfusion and wound healing in patients with foot ulcer type 2 diabetes. The Buerger Allen exercise is a specific exercise that aims to improve circulation in the feet and legs. Buerger Allen exercise is an ideal and noninvasive therapy for diabetic patients with a diabetic foot ulcer as it is an easy-to-learn, repetitive, low-cost, and low-risk physical activity. Subjects were randomly allocated to either the control or intervention group. The ulcers and lower extremity perfusion of the patients in both the intervention and control groups were examined and measured.
Evaluating Plantar Foot Pressure in a Novel Diabetic Offloading Device
Diabetic Foot UlcerThe impacts from diabetes are both patient related and healthcare based. Offloading is recognised as the priority treatment for healing neuropathic and neuro-ischaemic plantar foot ulcers. The new PulseFlow DF boot is a device which claims to off load but has little or no evidence on diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) subjects. Thus the primary aim of this study is to observe forefoot plantar pressures in a cross sectional purposively selected sample compared to usual standard of care.
