Anidulafungin vs Amphotericin B Safety in High Risk Hepatic Transplant Recipients
Liver DiseaseFungal InfectionThe study is a randomized, open-label safety study comparing the use of anidulafungin (200 mg i.v. as initial dose and 100 mg/d i.v. in subsequent doses) vs liposomal amphotericin B (3 mg/kg/d i.v.) in hepatic transplant recipients who have high risk of fungal infection.

PUVA Maintenance Therapy in Mycosis Fungoides
Patch/Plaque Stage Mycosis FungoidesThe purpose of the study is to determine whether psoralen plus UVA (PUVA) photochemotherapy maintenance treatment prolongs disease-free survival of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (mycosis fungoides) patients.

Fludarabine Phosphate, Melphalan, and Low-Dose Total-Body Irradiation Followed by Donor Peripheral...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission77 moreThis phase II trial studies how well giving fludarabine phosphate, melphalan, and low-dose total-body irradiation (TBI) followed by donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant (PBSCT) works in treating patients with hematologic malignancies. Giving chemotherapy drugs such as fludarabine phosphate and melphalan, and low-dose TBI before a donor PBSCT helps stop the growth of cancer and abnormal cells and helps stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. When the healthy stem cells from the donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes the transplanted cell from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), and methotrexate after transplant may stop this from happening

Silicon Phthalocyanine 4 and Photodynamic Therapy in Stage IA-IIA Cutaneous T-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma...
Recurrent Cutaneous T-cell Non-Hodgkin LymphomaRecurrent Mycosis Fungoides/Sezary Syndrome5 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of silicon phthalocyanine 4 and photodynamic therapy in treating patients with stage IA-IIA cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) uses a drug, silicon phthalocyanine 4, that becomes active when it is exposed to a certain kind of light. When the drug is active, cancer cells are killed. This may be effective against cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Funding Source - FDA OOPD

A Trial Comparing Efficacy and Safety of Voriconazole Administered With Therapeutic Drug Monitoring...
Fungal InfectionThis is a prospective, multicenter, randomized trial to study therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of voriconazole among patients with an invasive mould infection (IMI). The primary objective of this study will be to assess the effect of prospective voriconazole TDM on the composite of adverse events (AE) and clinical response.

AR-42 in Treating Patients With Advanced or Relapsed Multiple Myeloma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia,...
Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma65 moreRATIONALE: AR-42 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of AR-42 in treating patients with advanced or relapsed multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, or lymphoma.

HIVAIDS1 moreThis is a Phase I, open-label, 3-period crossover trial to investigate the pharmacokinetic interaction (process by which a drug is absorbed, distributed, metabolised and eliminated by the body) between TMC125 and fluconazole, and between TMC125 and voriconazole.

Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of Voriconazole
MycosesThe purpose of this study is to determine whether therapeutic drug monitoring of voriconazole is useful in the treatment of invasive fungal infection.
