Comparing the Efficacy of Endoscopic FNA vs FNB in Diagnosing Solid Gastrointestinal Lesions
Pancreatic TumorGastric Tumor3 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine if fine needle aspiration or fine needle biopsy is more efficacious and cost-effective than the other while maintaining diagnostic accuracy in the setting of solid gastrointestinal lesions.
Study of Physical and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Needs of Patients After Diagnosis and Treatment...
Adenocarcinoma of the Gastroesophageal JunctionCervical Cancer8 moreRATIONALE: Gathering information from patients who have undergone treatment for upper gastrointestinal cancer or gynecological cancer may help doctors learn more about patients' physical and psychosocial rehabilitation needs and plan the best treatment. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the physical and psychosocial rehabilitation needs of patients after diagnosis and treatment of upper gastrointestinal cancer or gynecological cancer.
A Prospective and Observational Cohort Study to Evaluate the Treatment Model and Medical Economics...
Advanced Gastric CancerThis is a multi-center, prospective and observational clinical study. Eligible patients will accept generalized chemotherapy according to the investigator's assessment. Information related to the treatment, including medication, disease condition, expenses, etc. will be periodically collected. Follow-up at 2-month intervals will be periodically performed to continually collect information about the disease progression, subsequent treatment and survival until death or completion of the study. Recruited patients will fill out questionnaires about quality of life before initiation of treatment, at Cycle 3 and completion of first-line treatment.
Comparison of Proton Pump Inhibitor and H2 Receptor Blocker on Prevention of Bleeding From Iatrogenic...
Delayed Bleedingafter endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) of early gastric cancer, conventional proton pump(PPI) inhibitors and H2 receptor antagonists have a controversial effect on preventing bleeding from artificial ulcers. the aim of this study was to investigate whether a stronger acid suppression (high dose PPI) more effectively prevents bleeding after ESD
Incidence of Blood Clots in Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy for Solid Tumors
Breast CancerColorectal Cancer6 moreRATIONALE: Chemotherapy may cause blood clots to form in the thigh, leg, and lung. This study may help doctors understand how often blood clots occur in patients undergoing chemotherapy. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying how often blood clots occur in patients undergoing chemotherapy for solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, or metastatic breast cancer
Relationship of EBV-positive Gastric Cancer and Multiple Genes Associated With Gastric Carcinogenesis...
Gastric CancerEBV Infection1 moreThe data of 460 gastric cancer patients who underwent curative gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection between January 2017 and February 2022 were analyzed. The clinicopathological features and prognosis of the patients with EBV-positive gastric cancers were compared with those of EBV-negative gastric cancers. Immunohistochemistry for epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), C-erb B2, Ki-67, and p53 was performed. Additionally, in situ hybridization was conducted to detect EBV, and microsatellite instability (MSI) analysis was used to assess the deficiency in mismatch repair (MMR) genes.
Safety and Efficacy of OGT Method Versus the Traditional Overlap Method
Gastric CancerIntroduction: The safety and efficiency of OGT-assisted method have not yet been compared with conventional overlap approach. Methods Retrospectively analyses the data of 155 gastric/gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) cancer patients who underwent laparoscopic total gastrectomy by conventional(conventional group, n=83) or OGT-assisted (OGT group, n=72) overlap methods at Nanfang Hospital. The anastomotic efficiency and surgical outcomes were compared between two groups.
the Optimal Surveillance Frequency for Stage II/III Gastric Cancer
Gastric CancerDue to lacking of evidence on surveillance for gastric cancer (GC), this study aimed to determine the optimal postsurgical surveillance strategy for stage II/III GC patients and compare its cost-effectiveness with traditional surveillance strategies.
Intraoperative Adverse Events in Robotic Radical Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer
Gastric CancerSurgical quality control is a crucial determinant of evaluating the tumor efficacy. We assess the ClassIntra grade for quality control and oncological outcomes of robotic radical surgery for gastric cancer (GC).
Laparoscopic Staging for Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer in Chinese Patients
Gastric CancerPeritoneal MetastasesRATIONALE: Laparoscopic staging may help doctors plan more effective treatment for gastric cancer, yet the efficiency have not been fully investigated in Chinese people. PURPOSE: Study the effectiveness of laparoscopic staging in patients with pre-diagnosed as locally advanced gastric cancer.
