Monitored Anesthesia Care With Propofol Plus Remifentanil During Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection:...
Early Gastric CancerThere are clinical usefulness issues associated with bispectral index (BIS) for sedation of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). However, the clinical usefulness of BIS for deep sedation is incompletely described. The purpose of this study is to show that BIS-guided sedation is safe and useful clinically and may provide stable sedation status to physicians and patients.
A Validation Study of Relationships Among Genomic Gene Expression Profile, Prognosis and Prediction...
Stage II-III Gastric CancerThe purpose of this study is to validate a pre-defined single-patient classifier algorithm for predicting prognosis and benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy for patients who underwent D2 gastrectomy for stage II and III gastric cancer. This algorithm classifies gastric cancer into five groups according to its molecular characteristics based on RNA expression levels. The prognosis and response from adjuvant chemotherapy will be different according to prognostic and predictive clusters respectively based on these groups, thus this algorithm can identify as patients which will have benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy or which will not. Consequently, this algorithm can be translated into clinical practice to help doctors who decide the necessity of adjuvant chemotherapy after D2 gastrectomy for patients who had diagnosed stage II and III gastric cancer.
Incidence of Duodenal Stump Fistula After Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer. A Randomized Controlled...
Gastric CancerDuodenal Stump LeakThe goal of this trial is to demonstrate that the use of Tri-Staple Technology for duodenal resection during open gastrectomy for cancer is safer than the use of other conventional methods of resection/closure of the duodenum and that the incidence of duodenal fistula can be decreased to that observed after the use of this technology in Laparoscopic and robotic gastrectomy, therefore almost three times lower than that currently reported in literature. Participating centres must have an annual volume of at least 20 gastrectomies per year.
A Predictive Model Based on Narrow Band Imaging for Early Gastric Cancerous Lesions
Early Gastric CancerWithout high diagnostic efficacy of endoscopic forceps biopsy (EFB) and with low diagnostic efficacy of narrow band imaging (NBI) in novice endoscopists and endoscopists of community hospitals in China, it is urgent to improve diagnostic efficacy for gastric cancerous lesions. The investigators will conduct a study to develop and validate a diagnostic model based on NBI for early gastric cancerous lesions under endoscopic observation.
Feasibility and Safety of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (FLOT ) for Gastric Cancer Patients in China...
Chemotherapy EffectNeoadjuvant chemotherapy for advanced-stage gastric cancer is justified by various studies, however, there was not any large scale randomized controlled trial (RCT) to support it until German oncologist introduced a novel regimen(FLOT regimen) in 2017. Investigator assessed the FLOT regimen for safety and feasibility in Chinese gastric cancer patients.
Application of Linked Color Imaging(LCI) in Diagnosis of Early Gastric Cancer(EGC)
Early Gastric Cancerthe purpose of this study is to evaluate application value of LCI in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer.
Chromogranin A as Blood Marker in Cancer Patients
Gastric NeoplasmsPancreatic Neoplasms2 moreGastroentero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are a heterogenous group of neoplasms that arise from enterochromaffin cells of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and pancreas. They account for 50-70% of all incident NETs. Due to the lack of symptoms in the early stage of disease and the frequency of nonspecific GI symptoms, GEP-NETs are difficult to diagnose. Identification of effective biomarkers (such as Chromogranin A) to improve GEP-NET diagnosis, as well as to assess treatment efficacy, relapse and prognosis, is important for improving outcomes for patients with GEP-NETs. The purpose of this study is to validate the performance of Brahms (BRAHMS) Chromogranin A II Kryptor (KRYPTOR) assay to monitor the course of disease in patients with well-defined GEP-NETs.

The Efficacy of Serum Pepsinogen for Prediction of Metachronous Gastric Neoplasm
Gastric CancerAfter endoscopic resection of early gastric cancer (EGC), there remained concerned about the development of the metachronous gastric neoplasm (MGN). The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of H. pylori eradication for reducing MGN after ESD and the efficacy of serum pepsinogen (PG) for predicting development of MGN after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for EGC and to evaluate other risk factors for the incidence of MGN. The investigators enrolled the participants who were tested serum PG I and II at the time of ESD for EGC, from January 2007 to May 2013 in single tertiary center, retrospectively. The baseline characteristics of the participants, H. pylori status, and serum pepsinogen were analyzed for the development of the MGN.
