Helicobacter Pylori Eradication for Gastric Cancer Prevention in the General Population
Gastric CancerHelicobacter Pylori InfectionThe aim of this study is to define the role of H. pylori eradication in the prevention of gastric cancer and its precursors in the context of a population-based endoscopic screening program.
A Study of Nivolumab Plus Chemotherapy in First Line Treatment of Adult Participants With Advanced...
Gastric CancerThe purpose of this observational study is to assess the effectiveness and safety of nivolumab in participants with previously untreated advanced or metastatic Gastric Cancer (GC), Gastro-oesophageal Junction (GEJ) Adenocarcinoma, or Oesophageal Adenocarcinoma (EAC).
Oral Cryotherapy Plus Acupressure and Acupuncture Versus Oral Cryotherapy for Decreasing Chemotherapy-Induced...
Appendix CarcinomaColon Carcinoma11 moreThis phase II trial investigates how well oral cryotherapy plus acupressure and acupuncture compared with oral cryotherapy alone work in decreasing chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in patients with gastrointestinal cancer who are receiving oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy. Acupressure is the application of pressure or localized massage to specific sites on the body to control symptoms such as pain or nausea. Acupuncture is the technique of inserting thin needles through the skin at specific points on the body to control pain and other symptoms. Cryotherapy uses cold temperature such as oral ice chips to prevent abnormally increased pain sensation. Giving oral cryotherapy with acupressure and acupuncture may work better in decreasing chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy from oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy in patients with gastrointestinal cancer compared to oral cryotherapy alone.
Improving the Approach to and Management of the Older Patient With Metastatic Gastric Cancer
Metastatic Gastric CancerThe purpose of this study is to enhance the care of older metastatic gastric cancer (mGC) patients by increasing awareness among oncology providers of the unique aspects of care required for older patients. The goal of the study is to educate providers on the utility of geriatric assessment in guiding therapy of older mGC patients. The investigators will also assess the feasibility and benefit of incorporating geriatric self-assessments into clinical practice. The study will include four phases.
Spanish Series of Patients Treated With the Radionuclide Lutetium177
Neuroendocrine TumorsIntestinal Neoplasms18 moreThis study aims to pool the clinical experience of Spanish centers treating patients with 177Lu-DOTATATE to evaluate the efficacy, tolerance, and safety of the drug in routine clinical practice and to learn about the profiles of patients and tumors treated and the results in each type of patient and tumor.
Dragon III-Phase 3: Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (FLOT Versus SOX) for Gastric Cancer
Gastric CancerNeoadjuvant ChemotherapyDRAGON III research, Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (FLOT versus SOX) for Gastric Cancer, is an investigator initiated; phase 3, open label, multi-center randomized controlled study.
Nab-paclitaxel Combined With S-1 Treating Diffuse Type of Stage Ⅲ Gastric Cancer
Gastric CancerInvestigators assessed the effectiveness of Nab-paclitaxel combined with S-1 treating diffuse type of stage Ⅲ gastric cancer as adjuvant setting
The Registry of Oncology Outcomes Associated With Testing and Treatment
AdenocarcinomaAdenocystic Carcinoma76 moreThis study is to collect and validate regulatory-grade real-world data (RWD) in oncology using the novel, Master Observational Trial construct. This data can be then used in real-world evidence (RWE) generation. It will also create reusable infrastructure to allow creation or affiliation with many additional RWD/RWE efforts both prospective and retrospective in nature.
Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Plus Surgery Versus Surgery First For Elderly Gastric Cancer Patients
Gastric CancerChemotherapy Effect2 moreThe main purpose of this study is to compare the feasibility and efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (modified SOX) for elderly patients with locally advanced gastric cancer.
Fluorescence Image Guided Foregut Surgery
Esophageal CancerGastric CancerA high number of resected lymph nodes is an independent prognostic factor for improved survival after esophagectomy or gastrectomy for cancer. The quality of the lymphadenectomy is operator-dependent, as is the evaluation of the vascularization of the digestive structures that are anastomosed to restore digestive continuity after esophago-gastric resection. The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of Indocyanine Green (ICG) and near infra-red (NIR) fluorescence imaging guidance in terms of number of lymph nodes resected and quality of gastrointestinal tract anastomoses in esophagogastric cancer surgery.
