Anlotinib Combined With Dose-reduced Olaparib in Patients With Platinum-Sensitive Recurrent Ovarian...

Ovarian CancerOvarian and Fallopian Tube Cysts and Neoplasms21 more

PARP inhibitors have changed the treatment paradigm of ovarian cancer. Most patients using PARP(poly-ADP ribose polymerase) inhibitors will suffer different grades of adverse events(AEs), followed by dose reduction. It has not been reported whether the dose-reduced olaparib as maintenance treatment have an impact on efficacy. Both PAOLA-1 and AVANOVA 2 studies showed that combined PARP inhibitors and antiangiogenic drugs have synergistic anti-tumor effect. Anlotinib is a novel multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that can inhibit VEGFR(vascular endothelial growth factor receptor), FGFR(fibroblast growth factor receptor), PDGFR(platelet-derived growth factor receptor) α/β, c-Kit, and Ret. And anlotinib has been approved as orphan drug designations for treatment of ovarian cancer by FDA in 2015. Previous studies showed that anlotinib had manageable toxicity and promising antitumor effect. Our study is expected to investigate the efficacy and safety of anlotinib combined with dose-reduced olaparib as maintenance treatment in platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer patients.

A Study of TQ-B3525 Tablets in Subjects With PIK3CA and/or PIK3R1/2 Gene-altered Recurrent/Metastatic...

Advanced Endometrial CancerCervical Cancer and Ovarian Cancer

This is a study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TQ-B3525 in subjects with recurrent / metastatic advanced endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and ovarian cancer with PIK3CA and / or PIK3R1 / 2 gene-altered (mutation or amplification). Endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and ovarian cancer are divided into three cohorts, each cohort administrated TQ-B3525 tablet orally once a day.

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation for Gynecological Cancer Patients

Malignant Female Reproductive System Neoplasm

As cancer treatment improves, the cancer survivor's quality of life and level of function have gained increasing importance. Pelvic floor function is directly affected by gynecological cancer and treatment, and pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) can severely affect a patient's life. PFD negatively affects health-related quality of life (HRQOL). Evaluation of PFD provides information about the disease burden and treatment-related effects directly from the patient's perspective and informs clinical decision-making. The pelvic floor musculature and sacral nerves are not easily accessible, and it is difficult to test them. Several functional assessments have been used to evaluate pelvic floor dysfunction; however, reports on methodology are sparse, and consensus on their use is lacking. Research on functional outcomes is highly complex and, consequently, must be addressed in a comprehensive framework.

Pro-Active Genetic Testing in Patients With Solid Tumors, Inherit Study

Breast CarcinomaDigestive System Neoplasm9 more

This phase I trial collects blood samples to investigate the prevalence of changes in genes (genetic mutations) in solid tumor patient populations seeking care at Mayo Clinic Embedded Cancer Center at St. Vincent's Riverside. This may help doctors better understand and/or treat others who have genetic mutations.

A Crossover Bioequivalence Study of Intravenously Administered ATI0918 and DOXIL/CAELYX in Patients...

Ovarian CancerMalignant Female Reproductive System Neoplasm3 more

The purpose of this study is to find the answers to the following research question(s): 1. Is the study drug equivalent to the approved drug, Doxil/Caelyx, and does it act the same way in the body as the approved drug? ATI-0918 is believed to be a generic of Doxil/Caelyx and this is what the study is trying to prove. All people who participate in this study will receive the research study medication (ATI-0918) and Doxil/Caelyx in addition to best supportive care (treatment for symptoms). The study drug being tested in this study works the same as the FDA (government) approved drug doxorubicin HCl. ATI-0918 is a generic (the same) formulation of doxorubicin HCl being delivered (given to the patient).

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Improving Well-Being in Patients With Stage III-IV Cancer and...

Malignant Female Reproductive System NeoplasmMalignant Hepatobiliary Neoplasm37 more

This pilot clinical trial studies how well acceptance and commitment therapy works in improving well-being in patients with stage III-IV cancer and their partners. Learning how to accept negative thoughts and feelings and how to live in the present without worrying about the future or past may improve coping skills in patients with stage III-IV cancer and their partners.

Comparative Study of LAVH and Minilaparotomy Hysterectomy

HysterectomyMinimal Invasive Surgery1 more

Minilaparotomy hysterectomy (MLH) relies on the simplicity of traditional open technique of abdominal hysterectomy, imparts cosmesis and faster recovery of laparoscopic hysterectomy yet avoids the long learning curve, cost of expensive setup and instrumentation associated with the minimally invasive approaches namely laparoscopy and robotics. In the present study, we tried to ascertain if the results obtained with MLH can be compared to LAVH in terms of its feasibility, intraoperative variables, and complications. The null hypothesis was that both MLH and LAVH are comparable techniques, so where cost and surgeon's experience are the confining issues, patients can be reassured that MLH gives comparable results.

Comprehensive Patient Questionnaires in Predicting Complications in Older Patients With Gynecologic...

Endometrial Serous AdenocarcinomaFallopian Tube Carcinoma8 more

This research trial studies comprehensive patient questionnaires in predicting complications in older patients with gynecologic cancer undergoing surgery. Comprehensive patient questionnaires completed before surgery may help identify complications, such as the need for assistance in taking medications, decreased mobility, decreased social activity, and falls, and may improve outcomes for older patients with gynecologic cancer.
