Comparative Study of Dorzol Eye Drops, 20 mg/ml Versus Trusopt® Eye Drops, 20 mg/ml

Primary Open Angle Glaucoma of Both Eyes

The goal of this study is to compare efficacy and safety of Dorzol 20 mg/mL Eye Drops manufactured by JADRAN-GALENSKI LABORATORIJ d.d. (Croatia) aimed at lowering elevated IOP in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) versus TRUSOPT 20 MG/ML Eye Drops manufactured by Laboratoires Merck Sharp & Dohme-Chibret, France. The main questions it aims to answer are: if the efficacy of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma is equal; if the safety of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma is equal. A total of 118 participants were screened and randomized 1:1 to the investigational drug (Dorzol) group or the reference drug (Trusopt) group. 59 patients were recruited in each group. Researchers compared the investigational drug (Dorzol) group with the reference drug (Trusopt) group to see if the efficacy and safety of the investigational drug and the reference drug in patients with ocular hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma are equal.

Non-inferiority of PRO-122 Ophthalmic Solution vs KRYTANTEK Ofteno® in Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension...

Primary Open Angle GlaucomaOcular Hypertension

Aim: To demonstrate the non-inferiority of the PRO-122 ophthalmic solution manufactured by Laboratorios Sophia S.A. de C.V. versus Krytantek Ofteno® ophthalmic solution like hypotensive therapy in subjects with primary open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Study design: a multicentric, prospective, crossover (2x2), double blind clinical study. Sample size: one hundred patients with primary open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Patients in the period 1: In the first sequence 30 patients will be assigned to receive the ophthalmic solution: Krytantek Ofteno ® (timolol 0.5%%/brimonidine 0.2%/dorzolamide 2%) 1 drop B.I.D. during 30 days and the second sequence 30 patients will be assigned to receive the ophthalmic solution: PRO-122 1 drop B.I.D. during 30 days in the same period. Washout period: 20 hours. Patients in the period 2: the pharmacological intervention change to the opposite therapy for 30 days

Safety and Efficacy of Anti-Oxidants and Anti-inflammatory Agents in Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy...

Open-angle GlaucomaDiabetic Retinopathy

This study is a multi-armed protocol designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of two different combinations of nutritional supplements (study drug) (Glauco-Health and Glauco-Select) chosen for their potential to protect retinal ganglion cells against oxidative stress, low-grade inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction in patients with open-angle glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Oxidative stress and retinal cellular dysfunction will be measured using a Retinal Metabolic Analyzer (RMA) in this randomized, single center, double masked study. Patients with glaucoma will be divided into three treatment arms randomized to receive either Glauco-Health, Glauco-Select, or placebo.
