Low-Dose Total Lymphoid Irradiation in Treating Patients With Refractory Chronic Graft-versus-Host...
Graft Versus Host DiseaseThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of low-dose total lymphoid irradiation (LD-TLI) in treating patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease that has not responded to treatment with steroids. LD-TLI is a procedure in which all of the body's major lymph nodes are treated with small doses of radiation in order to reset the dysfunctional immune system. LD-TLI may work as a treatment for graft-versus-host disease caused by a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
Sirolimus, Tacrolimus, Thymoglobulin and Rituximab as Graft-versus-Host-Disease Prophylaxis in Patients...
Chronic Myeloproliferative DisordersGraft Versus Host Disease6 moreThis Phase II clinical trial was designed for patients with hematologic malignancies in need of donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant, and have no HLA matched donor. Therefore It will test the efficacy of combining sirolimus, tacrolimus, antithymocyte globulin, and rituximab in preventing graft versus host disease in transplants from HLA Haploidentical and partially mismatched donors.
Efalizumab in Treating Patients With Graft-Versus-Host Disease of the Skin That Did Not Respond...
Graft Versus Host DiseaseRATIONALE: Efalizumab may be an effective treatment for graft-versus-host disease of the skin caused by a donor stem cell transplant. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the side effects and how well efalizumab works in treating patients with graft-versus-host disease of the skin that did not respond to previous steroids.
Romidepsin in Treating Patients With Steroid-Refractory Graft-versus-Host Disease
Graft Versus Host DiseaseThis pilot clinical trial studies romidepsin in treating patients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) that has not responded to treatment with steroids. Romidepsin may be an effective treatment for graft-versus-host disease caused by a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
Prevention of Graft-Versus-Host Disease in Patients With Advanced Leukemia or Lymphoma Who Are Eligible...
LeukemiaLymphoma1 moreRATIONALE: Peripheral stem cell transplantation may be able to replace immune cells that were destroyed by chemotherapy or radiation therapy used to kill tumor cells. Sometimes the transplanted cells can make an immune response against the body's normal tissues. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of cyclosporine plus methotrexate with cyclosporine plus T cell depletion for prevention of graft-versus-host disease during peripheral stem cell transplantation in patients who have advanced leukemia or lymphoma who are eligible for transplanted peripheral stem cells from a donor.
Gut Decontamination In Pediatric Allogeneic Hematopoietic
Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT)Acute GVH DiseaseThis research study is for participants who are undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and are at risk for developing acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). GVHD is a complication of HSCT in which immune cells from the donor cause inflammation and injury to tissues and organs of the HSCT recipient. Vancomycin-polymyxin B (commonly called "vancopoly") is an oral antibiotic that is given to people undergoing allogeneic HSCT as a preventive measure for acute GVHD. This research study is studying the effects of vancopoly on the microorganisms living in the intestine during and after stem cell transplantation.
Prevention of GVHD in Patients Treated With Allogeneic SCT: Possible Role of Extracorporeal Photophoresis...
Graft-Versus-Host DiseaseThe main aim is to test the preventive use of extracorporeal photophoresis (ECP) against development of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplantation for hematological malignancy.
Cyclophosphamide Versus Anti-thymocyte Globulin for GVHD Prophylaxis After RIC Allo-SCT
Graft vs Host DiseaseThe study is designed as a two arm randomized Phase II, multicenter trial comparing cyclophosphamide to anti-thymocyte globulin for Graft-versus-Host Disease (GVHD) prophylaxis in patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing reduced intensity conditioning hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Vigamox Treatment for Ocular Graft-Versus-Host Disease
Ocular Graft-versus-host DiseaseIn this study the investigators seek to prospectively measure the response of ocular graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) patients to treatment with topical Vigamox. The investigators will accomplish this by enrolling patients with bilateral ocular GVHD and treating one eye with topical Vigamox and the other eye with a placebo eye drop. By assessing the response to treatment with Vigamox, the investigators hope to identify a role for topical antibiotic treatment in ocular GVHD.
Evaluation of Dextenza in Patients With Ocular GVHD and Effects on Ocular Surface Disease Outcomes...
Graft Vs Host DiseaseTo evaluate the safety and efficacy of Dextenza intracanalicular insert in patients with ocular graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
