Allogeneic γ9δ2 T Cells Treatment of Recurrent Hematologic Tumors
Hematologic DiseasesThis is an open single-arm clinical study aimed at evaluating the safety and tolerance of allogeneic γ9δ2 T cell injection in the treatment of patients with recurrent hematologic tumors after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
AZA + Venetoclax as Maintenance Therapy in Patients With AML in Remission
Acute Myeloid Leukemia in RemissionFLT3 Gene Mutation4 moreThis phase II trial studies how well azacitidine and venetoclax work in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia that is in remission. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as azacitidine and venetoclax, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
AlloSCT for Malignant and Non-malignant Hematologic Diseases Utilizing Alpha/Beta T Cell and CD19+...
Acute LeukemiaSevere Aplastic Anemia7 moreChildren, adolescents, and young adults with malignant and non-malignant conditionsundergoing an allogeneic stem cell transplantation (AlloSCT) will have the stem cells selected utilizing α/β CD3+/CD19+ cell depletion. All other treatment is standard of care.
Efficacy and Safety of the Anti-COVID-19 Antibody SA55 for Injection in Patients With Hematological...
Hematological DisordersCOVID-19This study is a multicenter, randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Anti-COVID-19 Antibody SA55 for Injection in patients with hematological malignancies. This study consists of two stages. In the first stage, 8 subjects aged 18-75 were recruited for safety assessment, including the monitoring of clinical test indicators and adverse events. After confirming the preliminary safety results of the first stage, we plan to recruit 160 COVID-19 patients with hematologic disorders aged 1-75 years old and randomly divided into the SA55 group and the placebo group with a ratio of 3:1. Basic information and laboratory tests will be collected during the whole study, and the occurrence of adverse events and SAEs of all subjects were collected.
Second or Greater Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Using Reduced Intensity Conditioning...
Hematologic DisordersHemoglobinopathies1 moreThis is a treatment guideline for a second or greater allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) using a reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) in patients with non-malignant or malignant diseases. This regimen, consisting of busulfan, fludarabine, and low dose total body irradiation (TBI), is designed to promote engraftment in patients who failed to achieve an acceptable level of donor-derived engraftment following a previous allogeneic HCT.
Mind-body Medicine for Patients With Malignant Hematological Diseases
Hematologic NeoplasmsThis randomized controlled trial aims to investigate the effectiveness of a mind-body group program as a supprtivemanagement strategy for fatigue in patients with malignant hematological diseases.
Hetrombopag for the Enhancement of Platelet Engraftment After Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell...
Hematological DiseaseAllogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell TransplantationThis investigator-initiated, prospective, multicenter, open-label, randomized, controlled clinical study is designed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of hetrombopag for promoting platelet engraftment after allo-HSCT in patients with hematological disease. After signing the informed consent form, the patients will enter the screening period (up to 14 days), and the qualified patients will be randomly selected into the experimental group and the control group according to the ratio of 1:1. Experimental group: After hematopoietic stem cell reinfusion, the patients begin to take hetrombopag orally 7.5mg/d, until the patients reach complete platelet response (CR, platelet count ≥ 50×109/L for 3 consecutive days without platelet transfusions for 7 consecutive days). The treatment will stop when patients accept 21 consecutive days of treatment or reach the discontinuation criteria. Control group: After hematopoietic stem cell transfusion, the patients will be only observed, and the observation during the treatment period will be ended after 30 days. Patients will continue to enter the follow-up period (+ 100 days after transplantation) and the survival follow-up period (1 year after transplantation) after the end of the treatment period.
Allo HSCT Using RIC and PTCy for Hematological Diseases
Acute Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Lymphocytic Leukemia17 moreThis is a Phase II study following subjects proceeding with our Institutional non-myeloablative cyclophosphamide/ fludarabine/total body irradiation (TBI) preparative regimen followed by a related, unrelated, or partially matched family donor stem cell infusion using post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy), sirolimus and MMF GVHD prophylaxis.
Effect of Dose Fractionation of Testosterone Cypionate on Transgender Men With Erythrocytosis
TestosteroneTranssexualism1 moreA transgender man is someone with a male identity who were born with a vulva and vagina. The acquisition of masculine characters can come from surgery or from the use of testosterone. Despite the benefit of using this hormone in relation to hair development, muscle mass gain and changes in voice timbre, its use can cause an increase in the hematocrit (Ht) level. When erythrocytosis occurs (Ht ≥ 50%), the currently proposed conduct is the suspension of cross-hormonization for 3 months, which has negative effects on the affirmation process. This project aims to assess whether reducing the dose of testosterone cypionate by half (100mg/15d) can mitigate the negative outcomes caused by the suspension with the benefit of reducing the hematocrit level in trans patients who developed erythrocytosis using testosterone. This is a pilot study that will compare the intervention (testosterone cypionate 100 mg, fortnightly) to the suspension of the drug, both for 3 months, with the main outcome being the hematocrit level. Hormonal and biochemical levels and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HAD) will also be evaluated in patients treated at the Gender Incongruence Outpatient Clinic of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto.
A Study to Investigate the Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of Oral GSK4172239D Compared...
Hematologic DiseasesAnaemia1 moreThis will be a first time in human (FTIH) study in sickle cell diseases (SCD) participants. The FTIH study is planned to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of GSK4172239D. The study will be composed of 3 periods for all participants (Screening, Treatment, and Follow up). Participants will be screened and, prior to first dose on Day 1, will be randomized to receive either GSK4172239D or placebo. GSK4172239D is a prodrug that is converted in vivo into GSK4106401. This study will be a single dose, dose-escalation study. The initial dosing for all cohorts will be staggered so that 2 participants will be dosed as sentinel participants. Provided there are no safety concerns in 48 hours (h), the remaining 6 participants scheduled for the cohort may be dosed. One selected cohort of participants will also receive an additional single dose of GSK4172239D (or matching placebo) under fed (high calorie and high fat) conditions after a washout period of a minimum of 20 days or 5 half-lives, whichever is longer, designated as the Food Effect Cohort.
