A Two-part Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Efficacy of KRP203...
Hematological MalignanciesTwo part study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy (in Part 2 only) of KRP203 in patients undergoing allogeneic hemopoietic stem cell transplant for hematological malignancies
A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Inactivated Varicella-zoster Vaccine (VZV) as a Preventative...
Herpes ZosterThis is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the safety and tolerability of V212 when administered to adults with solid tumor malignancy (STM) receiving chemotherapy and to assess the impact of V212 on the development of herpes zoster (HZ) in adults with STM receiving chemotherapy. The primary hypothesis is that vaccination with V212 will reduce the incidence of HZ compared with placebo in adults with STM (lower bound of the 97.5% {one-sided α=0.0125} confidence interval [CI] for the estimated vaccine efficacy in adults with STM be >25%). Participants with hematologic malignancy (HM) were also enrolled and were to be originally included in the primary and secondary objectives and analyses. After an interim analysis demonstrated clear evidence of futility of V212 in the HM population, enrollment of this population was stopped and all HM-related objectives and analyses were made exploratory and are not reported in this record.
Recombinant Human Keratinocyte Growth Factor to Reduce Oral Mucositis in Hematologic Malignancy...
StomatitisRadiotherapy and high dose chemotherapy with bone marrow transplantation or peripheral blood stem cell transplantation is frequently used as treatment for patients with cancers of the bone marrow or lymph nodes such as Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, leukemia or multiple myeloma. A common side effect of the radiotherapy and high dose chemotherapy is mucositis (inflammation of the inside of the mouth and throat resulting in pain and difficulty swallowing). Mucositis is often very severe such that patients receive intravenous nutrition and pain medication in the hospital. In this study, an investigational recombinant human growth factor called Keratinocyte Growth Factor (rHuKGF) is being evaluated to determine its protective effect on the mucosal tissue and its ability to reduce the mouth and throat soreness.
Low Bacterial Diet in Patients With Cytopenia
CytopeniaThe purpose of this prospective, randomized study was to determine the efficacy of low bacterial diet, in comparison to normal hospital diet, with gut colonization by aerobic Gram negative rods and yeasts as primary endpoint. In addition, the occurrence of infections and the total costs of hospital care were documented, in order to identify potential cost savings by the use of either diet.
Anti-CD19 Universal CAR-NK Cells Therapy Combined With HSCT for B Cell Hematologic Malignancies...
B-cell LymphomaB-cell LeukemiaIt is a single-center, open-labeled, single-arm, non-randomized investigator-initiated trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of anti-CD19 U-CAR-NK Cells Therapy combined with HSCT for B cell hematologic malignancies.
Safety and Efficacy of Donor T-lymphocytes Depleted ex Vivo of Host Alloreactive T-cells (ATIR)...
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaAcute Lymphoblastic Leukemia1 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether ATIR is safe and effective in reducing transplant-related mortality and improving overall survival, when infused in patients with a hematologic malignancy following a T-cell depleted stem cell graft from a related haploidentical donor.
Itacitinib in Combination With Erlotinib in Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients With Epidermal Growth...
Solid Tumors and Hematologic MalignancyNSCLC (Non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma)The purpose of this study is to determine if Itacitinib in combination with erlotinib is safe and effective in the treatment of nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is Stage IIIB/Stage IV or recurrent whose tumors have EGFR activating mutations.
Febuxostat for Tumor Lysis Syndrome Prevention in Hematologic Malignancies
Tumor Lysis SyndromeThe purpose of this study is to determine whether febuxostat is superior to allopurinol in the prevention of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) in patients with hematological malignancies at intermediate or high risk of TLS (according to Cairo-Bishop classification) who undergo chemotherapy
Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of TXA127 (Angiotensin 1-7) to Enhance Engraftment in Pediatric...
Cord Blood TransplantHematologic Malignancy1 moreEngraftment failure is a major obstacle to the success of cord blood transplantation in children with malignancies and inherited metabolic disorders, despite the fact that they receive relatively high doses of nucleated cells from UCB. TXA127 is pharmaceutically formulated Angiotensin 1-7 [A(1-7)], a non-hypertensive derivative of Angiotensin-II (which contains the 8th amino acid conferring receptor binding to blood pressure receptors). TXA127 has multilineage effects on hematopoietic progenitors in vitro and in vivo. Preclinical data show that TXA127 is a novel stimulator of early multilineage hematopoietic progenitors, increases engraftment of committed hematopoietic progenitors, and induces more rapid production of platelets and neutrophils in the peripheral circulation, especially in limited cell number transplants. Treatment with TXA127 following UCBT is expected to increase the numbers of hematopoietic progenitors and accelerate engraftment.
MPH966 for Prevention of Graft-versus-host Disease After Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation...
Hematologic MalignancyThe purpose of this study is evaluate the safety and tolerability of MPH966, a neutrophil elastase inhibitor, and its ability to prevent graft-versus-host disease after hematopoietic stem cell transplant.
