Recombinant Follicle-stimulating Hormone in Treatment for Infertility

Female Infertility

This is a randomized multi-centre, assessor-blind, parallel-group study to be conducted in 250 women in the age group of 20 to 39 years (both inclusive), who are indicated to undergo COS as part of assisted reproductive technology (ART). The participant will receive r-hFSH, fixed-dose for 5 days, and day 6 onwards the dose may be adjusted for a single cycle of COS followed by ART procedures, and post-ART follow-up for ongoing pregnancy. The primary and secondary outcomes will be captured on days as per protocol. Adverse events will be noted for safety evaluation.

Dual Trigger" in IVF Patients at High Risk of Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome

Ovarian Hyperstimulation SyndromeInfertility1 more

The present study aims to evaluate whether the use of a "dual trigger" can improve IVF outcomes, compared to GnRH agonist (GnRH-a) alone, in patients at high risk of OHSS undergoing a freeze-all cycle. By examining freeze-all cycles with frozen embryo transfer(s) (FET) only, we eliminate the potential confounding issue of inadequate luteal support to the endometrium and focus primarily on the effect of a "dual trigger" on oocyte quality and embryo potential. To our best knowledge, there have been no randomized, controlled trials conducted to address this hypothesis.

Evaluation of Salivary ELISA for Hormone Monitoring in Donors

InfertilityFemale1 more

In donors or patients undergoing assisted reproduction treatments (ART) it is necessary to closely control ovarian stimulation to monitor the number and size of developing follicles. Oestradiol (E2) and progesterone (P4) are products of steroidogenesis. Their concentrations increase with the diameter of the growing follicle. In order to assess treatment response and support clinical decisions, accurate and reliable methods to measure E2 and P4 are essential. Measurement of both hormones, as well as monitoring of follicle growth through ultrasound measurements, is an important part of ovarian stimulation, requiring patients or donors to undergo multiple blood draws. It is often a physically and emotionally painful process, and the most convenient solution is the measurement of hormones concentrations in other biological fluids, such as saliva. Salivary diagnostic tests are a less invasive, inexpensive, and stress-free alternative. The current study pretends to evaluate the correlation between salivary ELISA assays and serum determination of progesterone and oestradiol concentrations in oocyte donors, and, also, evaluate the feasibility of doing saliva E2 and P4 determinations in the IVIRMA clinic labs.

COVID-19 Infection and Reproductive Health in Infertile Women

InfertilityFemale

An increased number of women has been infected by COVID-19 in the last 2 years SARS-CoV-2 infection could have a role in potential disturbances on hormon levels and human fertility Has not completely demonstrated COVID-19 effects on female reproductive function and further research can be undertaken. The proposed multicenter study will be simple and rapid, and attractive for the scientific community.

Endometrial Compaction in Assissted Reproduction

InfertilityFemale

To record the dynamic change of endometrial thickness (Day of embryo transfer Versus. Day of ovulation trigger administration in case of fresh cycles or end of estrogen phase in frozen cycles), and to investigate the impact of endometrial thickness change on pregnancy outcomes

Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS) Protocol of REKOVELLE Pre-Filled Pen (Follitropin Delta)

InfertilityFemale

This post-marketing surveillance study is conducted in accordance with the regulations for re-examination of domestic new drugs (Standard for Re-Examination of New Drugs: Ministry of Food and Drug Safety [MFDS]: Notification No. 2017-95, 21 Nov, 2017). It is important to monitor the pattern of drug use in general practice for a long term after marketing authorization, and to investigate and identify potential new adverse events (AEs) and their onset status that were not observed during the drug development phases and any potential factors that affect safety and effectiveness of the new drug.

Clinical Trials Evaluating the Effect of Metformin Treatment on Function Endometrium in Women Diagnosed...

InfertilityFemale

Randomized, controlled, double-blind, three-arm clinical trial in which 75 women will be randomized to treatment with metformin, 75 women to treatment with placebo and 50 women to the observation group. The medical intervention will last 24 weeks (6 months). Women with confirmed idiopathic infertility, in whom infertility factors have been excluded during full diagnostics, will be included in the study

Serial Progesterone Level Measurements During the Menstrual Cycle in Subfertile Women

SubfertilityFemale1 more

Ovulatory dysfunction is identified in 15% of all infertile couples and it accounts for 40% of female infertility. Ovulatory dysfunction may be more subtle in women with regular menses. Detecting the day of ovulation is necessary for optimizing natural conception, diagnosis of cycle disturbances and also timing for embryo transfer in natural cycle frozen-thawed embryo transfers. In order to diagnose ovulatory dysfunction, ovulation physiology and change of reproductive hormones during the menstrual cycle should be understood. In the present study we aimed to evaluate serial serum hormonal cut-off levels referenced to ovulation in subfertile women with regular menses.

Is the AMH Intrafollicular Level a Predictor of the Ploidy Status of the Blastocyst?

InfertilityFemale1 more

To investigate, whether on the day of egg retrieval, after ovarian stimulation for ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection), there is a correlation between the intrafollicular AMH (Anti-Müllerian hormone) levels and the ploidy status of the blastocyst.

Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Ameliorating IVF-ET Outcomes of Diminished Ovarian Reserve...

Diminished Ovarian ReserveInfertility1 more

Patients with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) who undergo in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) are included as the research subjects. The effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for kidney tonifying and blood circulation regulating of different intervention courses on ovarian hyporesponsiveness, IVF-ET outcome and clinical compliance in DOR patients are studied by a non-inferiority randomized controlled trial. The purpose is to identify the breakthrough point and treatment timing of TCM treatment, explore the best treatment course of TCM, and optimize the TCM therapeutic regimen.
