Surveillance for Early Liver Injuries Caused by Xianlin Gubao Pill.

Drug-Induced Liver Injury

This is a prospective registry study to surveil early liver injuries caused by Xianlin Gubao Pill (XLGB Pill) through a non-intervention observational way. And attempt to establish a predictive model to screen susceptibilities to XLGB Pill.

Critical IllnessAcute Kidney Injury

This is a prospective observational single-center study in which the association of Protein-Energy Adequacy and 28-Days of Mortality among critically ill patients with Acute Kidney Injury, AKI will be investigated. The association of Protein-Energy adequacy with a length of ICU and hospital stay, total ventilator, and inotropic drug days among critically ill patients with AKI also will be investigated.

Usefulness of Biomarkers in the Management of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury in Adults (Biotraumap)...

Traumatic Brain InjuryIntracranial Injury

The indication of cranial computed tomography (CCT) is difficult to define for patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). For mTBI patients with a medium risk of intracranial complications, CCT scans are indicated although 90% of them are normal. The interest of the S100B protein has been widely demonstrated in the management of mTBI in adults. Its serum concentration (for blood sampling drawn less than 3 hours after trauma) can accurately predict a normal CCT scan for mTBI patients with a medium risk of intracranial complications. That's why, serum assay of the S100B protein is routinely used in the Emergency Department of Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital for the treatment of patients with mTBI. The objective of the study is to optimize the management strategy for mTBI patients by blood testing of new brain biomarkers. These biomarkers are synthesized by brain cells and are released into the blood in case of intracranial lesions.

Chinese Sports Injury Treatment Situation and Development Trend of Big Data Research

Sports Injury

This project is planned to be based on the medical insurance database collected by the China Health Insurance Research Association (CHIRA). As a national academic research institution, CHIRA collects medical insurance patient data, covering more than 20 provinces across the country. The data of more than 60 municipalities, provincial capitals, and prefecture-level cities are unique and authoritative in my country. Based on the CHIRA database, big data analysis for Chinese sports medicine patients, starting from the names of medical institutions, admission/discharge diagnosis and classification of medical items, etc., to investigate the development trend of arthroscopic surgery in China and understand my country's arthroscopic diseases The distribution characteristics and changing trends of the quantity.

Current Situation and Analysis of ICU Management for Severe Trauma Patients in China

ICUTrauma Injury1 more

Over the past 10 years, there has not been a consensus on ICU nursing management based on the concept of injury control. Case management for patients with serious trauma continues to be initiated in general services and after discharge. There is no critical care unit case management strategy for the high-risk population following acute intake. Consequently, there is an urgent need to develop and enhance ICU nursing best practice after injury control.

Prediction of Acute Kidney Injury After Operation of Acute Type A Aortic Dissection Based on Multimodal...

AneurysmDissecting1 more

Acute kidney injury is one of the most common postoperative complications of acute type A aortic dissection, which is closely related to early postoperative death. Early prevention, early diagnosis and early treatment are the key to improve the prognosis of such patients. It has been a hot topic in clinical research for a long time. Previous reports revealed a series of risk factors for acute kidney injury after aortic dissection, but limited by research design and single modal data, high quality studies were rare. The purpose of this study is to further clarify the risk factors by studying the relationship between preoperative CT renal perfusion imaging indexes and postoperative acute kidney injury; establish and externally verify the multimodal radiomics prediction model for acute kidney injury after operation of aortic dissection combining with preoperative CT renal perfusion imaging and CT angiography information by analysis methods of information fusion, feature engineering and radiomics, so as to guide the follow-up clinical practice, improve the prognosis of such patients and save medical resources.

Epidemology of Acute Kidney Injury in Diabetic Patients Infected With covid_19 In Assiut University...

Acute Kidney Injury Due to covid_19

The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 was identified as the causative agent for a series of atypical respiratory diseases in Wuhan, China in December of 2019(.1) The disease termed COVID-19, was officially declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. SARS-CoV-2 contains a single-stranded, positive-sense RNA genome surrounded by an extracellular membrane containing a series of spike glycoproteins resembling a crown.COVID-19 infection results in diverse symptoms and morbidity depending on individual genetics, ethnicity, age, and geographic location. In severe cases, COVID-19 pathophysiology includes destruction of lung epithelial cells, thrombosis, hypercoagulation, and vascular leak leading to sepsis.(2) COVID-19 risk factors include cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes.(2)

FGF23 as a Marker of Acute Kidney Injury

Acute Kidney InjuryKidney Ischemia

A partial nephrectomy (PN) preserves renal parenchyma with a proper oncology outcome. PN is performed during transitory ischemia to avoid massive bleeding during tumor resection. Nevertheless, the transitory ischemia might cause an acute kidney injury(AKI). AKI diagnose is based on the increase in plasma creatinine concentration and a decrease in urine output. However, both plasma creatinine concentration and diuresis are useful for the diagnose, but not in the detection of the risk patients. Therefore, there is considerable interest to find a biomarkers of kidney injury that allow clinicians to predict the development of AKI. Hence, we propose Fibroblastic Growth Factor-23 (FGF23) as a novel early biomarker to detect patients in risk to develop postoperative AKI after a PN. We will conduct an observational and prospective study in three different groups of patients: PN gropup, patients who underwent PN with a transient and controlled renal ischemia injury using a renal artery clamping; Hemicolectomy (HC) group, patients as non-renal ischemia surgery controls, with similar demographic characteristics, but submitted to HC; and Nephrolithotomy (NL) group, patients who underwent NL, as a control of kidney surgery with physical injury. In each patient, a time curve of plasmatic creatinine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and FGF23 were measure. Our study aims to describe the role of FGF23 as an early biomarker of AKI after PN, where patients are exposed to a controlled ischemic injury.

Clinical Related Study on Surgical Treatment of Knee Joint Meniscus Injury

Meniscus Injury

Through the analysis of the data of 8094 patients with knee meniscus injury before December 31, 2008 and more patients with partial meniscus resection, subtotal resection and total resection, we can understand the gender difference and ratio of medial and lateral meniscus injuries. Differences, differences in locations, differences in tearing methods, differences in surgical methods, and the course of the disease affect the meniscus injury and surgical methods, and further affect the patient's knee degeneration imaging, accompanying cartilage injury, knee osteoarthritis, Partial resection, subtotal resection and meniscus regeneration after total resection, imaging and secondary arthroscopic exploration (Second-Look) were studied.
