Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells For the Treatment of Lumbar Disc Degeneration Disease...

Lumbar Disc DegenerationLumbar Disc Herniation

This study aims to investigate the safety and efficiency of Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hUCMSC) for treating lumbar disc degeneration diseases. We hypothesize grafting hUCMSC into the degenerative disc leads to symptoms relief and slow down the progression of disc degeneration.

Intervertebral DXM Gel Injection in Adults With Painful Lumbar Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative Disc DiseaseChronic Lower Back Pain5 more

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and the efficacy of an hydrogel (double cross-link microgel - DXM) injection into the intervertebral disc (IVD) space in patients with painful lumbar degenerative disc disease (DDD) over 24 to 48 weeks.

Allogeinic Bone Paste

Cervical FusionCervical Disc Degeneration1 more

This is a prospective, single arm, single center clinical study to evaluate efficacy and safety of a Supercritical CO2 viral-inactivated allogenic bone paste in cervical interbody fusion. Patient eligible for 1- or 2-level ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) combined with bone graft after failure of well-conducted medical treatment will be screened for the study.

Efficacy of Intradiscal Injection of Autologous BM-MSC in Subjects With Chronic LBP Due to Multilevel...

Intervertebral Disc DegenerationChronic Low-back Pain

DREAM is a phase II B efficacy monocentric, prospective, randomized, controlled double blinded trial, comparing intra-discal autologous adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSC) therapy and sham treated controls in subjects with chronic (> 6 months) Low Back Pain (LBP) due to lumbar multilevel (max. 3 levels) intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) unresponsive to conventional therapy. Duration of the recruitment period has been estimated to be 12 months. The efficacy of intradiscal injection of autologous BM-MSC in reducing chronic LBP due to multilevel lumbar IDD will be evaluated after 24 months in terms of pain relief (VAS), functionality (ODI) and quality of life (SF36).

Compare Different Cervical Anterior Discectomy Procedures by After Procedure Sagittal Alignment...

Cervical Disc Degeneration

Patients with single-level cervical degenerative disc disease commonly undertook anterior discectomy. To compare the effect of anterior cervical discectomy without fusion (ACD), anterior cervical discectomy with fusion by stand-alone cage (ACDF) or anterior cervical discectomy with arthroplasty (ACDA), a multiple center randomised controlled trial will be performed in patients with single-level cervical disease. The primary outcome will be cervical alignment by upright cervical spine radiographs estimated by Harrison posterior tangent method.
