Telerehabilitation in Patients With Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases
Fibrosing Interstitial Lung DiseaseTelerehabilitationThe aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of different exercise programs applied to 3 groups randomly formed in patients with fibrosing interstitial lung disease (FILD). Secondary purpose: To determine the feasibility and effectiveness of telerehabilitation in FILD cases.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary DiseaseThis is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group clinical study, which aims to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and PK characteristics of Ensifentrine 3 mg twice daily (BID) for 24 weeks treatment of moderate to severe COPD.
Can NAVA Mode Reduce Mechanical Ventilation Day in Patients With COPD ?
Obstructive Lung DiseasesBackground: Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA) mode is a new mode of ventilator, using electronic potential of diaphragm to adjust tidal volume. At the same time, this mode can trigger and cycle-off inspiratory time by high sensitivity of electronic potential of diaphragm, increase patient-ventilator synchrony, reduce sedative drug, improve oxygenation, shorten mechanical ventilation day and reduce the rate of diaphragm atrophy. It can improve survival rate and hospital day of patients. Both the animal and human experiment have the effect of lung and diaphragm protection Effect: The results of this trial are expected to obtain electronic potential of diaphragm in patients with obstructive pulmonary disease. Reviewing the current literature, few related literatures have such data presentation. This trial hopes to evaluate whether the use of NAVA can reduce mechanical ventilation day by analyzing electronic potential of diaphragm in patients with obstructive pulmonary disease. Investigators expect that participants with obstructive pulmonary disease using NAVA mode will have significantly less mechanical ventilation day than using conventional mode
Myositis Interstitial Lung Disease Nintedanib Trial
Myositis Associated Interstitial Lund Disease (MA-ILD)This research study will evaluate safety and how well the study drug, nintedanib improve symptoms in participants with myositis associated interstitial lung disease (MA-ILD). Interstitial lung disease is a disorder caused by the abnormal accumulation of cells structures between air sacs of the lungs resulting in thickening, stiffness and scarring of the tissues of the lung. This study will enroll a total of 134 participants across 15 clinical sites located in the United States. A subset of participants will be enrolled remotely via telemedicine utilizing certified mobile home research nurses and various remote monitoring devices. The research visits may include a physical exam, vital signs (such as blood pressure, heart rate, etc.), pulmonary function tests (PFT and/or home spirometry), Computerized Tomography (or CT) scans of the chest, blood draws, wearing a physical activity monitor and completing questionnaires. Some of these events may be done at home, at a local facility or remotely (via telemedicine).
Efficacy and Safety of Pirfenidone in CTD-ILD
PirfenidoneConnective Tissue Diseases1 moreA single-center randomized controlled study will be used to observe the efficacy and safety of pirfenidone on CTD-ILD patients for 24 months. The main research endpoints is the lung function (FVC) at 6 months. The clinical dyspnea score, 6-minute walking distance, index of lung function and imaging indicators are evaluated, as well as primary disease activity and adverse reactions of therapy with glucocorticoid and immunosuppressants up to 24 months.
Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) for Patients With Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary DiseaseChronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a burden to health care and economic systems globally, to manage this preventable and treatable disease, different pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions were shown to be effective. Chronic and progressive dyspnea, cough and sputum production are the characteristic symptoms of COPD. The most commonly encountered symptom in patients with COPD is dyspnea, it is a subjective experience of breathing discomfort . It causes impact on patient's health status, sleep quality, anxiety and depression level. Therefore, skills transfer in self-managing major symptoms are crucial to prevent negative consequences, and as suggested by Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD), managing symptoms and to prevent future risk of exacerbations is important for stable COPD cases. Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) is a physio-therapeutic intervention directed toward patients' functional movement quality. The development of BBAT was based on the hypothesis of persons' lacking contact with and lacking awareness on their own body, with their inner life, external environment and in the relation to other persons. Thus, it leads to dysfunctional movement, pain and other body functions. BBAT focus on multi-perspective within a person including physical, physiological, psycho-social-cultural and existential perspectives. It directs patients to be "aware", guides patients to have mental contact with their body, monitors internal sensations and external environment, and thus, to enhance the self-regulated behavior and positive emotional state. There are three key components in practicing BBAT, namely balance, free breathing and mental awareness. Evidence shown that the effect of BBAT is significant in improving physical and psycho-social well-being in patients with different physical and mental disorders. Now, there is absence of evidence in applying BBAT in managing cases with respiratory diseases, especially for those with prominent symptoms of dyspnea (for example COPD cases). The objectives of this study are (1) to evaluate individual BBAT as an add-on treatment in patients with COPD, (2) to understand COPD patients' experience through participating in individual Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT).
Automated Oxygen Titration in Daily Life in Patients With COPD on Home Oxygen
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of automated oxygen titration compared to the usual fixed dose oxygen on the patient's ability to perform activities of daily living.
Efficacy and Safety of Tozorakimab in Symptomatic Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With a History...
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)The purpose of this Phase III study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tozorakimab administered subcutaneously (SC) in adult participants with symptomatic COPD with a history of ≥ 2 moderate or ≥ 1 severe exacerbations of COPD in the 12 months prior to enrolment. Participants should be receiving optimised treatment with inhaled maintenance therapy (ICS/LABA/LAMA triple therapy, or dual therapy if triple is not considered appropriate) throughout at least the last 3 months prior to enrolment.
