A Pilot Study of Oral Vorinostat Plus Oral Eltrombopag Support in Patients With Lymphoma (VEIL)...
Follicular LymphomaMarginal Zone Lymphoma1 moreVorinostat is a drug (Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor [HDACi]) administered orally that has been approved in United States for the patients with cutaneous Tcell lymphoma (CTCL) who have progressive, persistent or recurrent disease on or following two systemic therapies. In the early period of treatment with vorinostat, some patients may experience low platelet counts. Therefore this study will be examining the combination of these two medications (Vorinostat and eltrombopag) to assess if eltrombopag can overcome the low platelets during treatment with vorinostat. Eltrombopag is a drug administered orally designed to mimic the protein thrombopoietin, which causes the body to make more platelets. Eltrombopag has been registered in Australia and approved overseas to treat patients with chronic ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura) a disease where patients destroy their own platelets very rapidly and thus develop low platelet count) but it is not registered and it is not yet known whether eltrombopag can increase platelet counts in patients treated with the HDACi. The aim of this project is to test whether Vorinostat and eltrombopag can be safely combined, and to test whether they are effective in participants with T-cell lymphoma involving the skin or patients with relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma (FL), marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), or mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) A total of 25 people with Cutaneous T cell lymphoma/ CTCL, marginal zone lymphoma, follicular lymphoma or mantle cell lymphoma will be recruited in this study.
Chemotherapy Plus Interferon Alfa Alone or With Radiation Therapy and Peripheral Stem Cell Transplantation...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage cancer cells. Peripheral stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy drugs and radiation therapy and kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy followed by interferon alfa alone or combination chemotherapy plus radiation therapy and peripheral stem cell transplantation in treating patients who have previously untreated stage III or stage IV follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Bendamustine, Mitoxantrone, and Rituximab (BMR) for Patients With Untreated High Risk Follicular...
Follicular LymphomaThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if the combination of bendamustine hydrochloride, mitoxantrone, and rituximab can help to control follicular lymphoma. The safety of this drug combination will also be studied.
Rituximab and Oblimersen in Treating Patients With Stage II, Stage III, or Stage IV Follicular Non-Hodgkin's...
Stage III Grade 1 Follicular LymphomaStage III Grade 2 Follicular Lymphoma4 moreMonoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Oblimersen may help rituximab work better by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. This phase II trial is studying how well giving rituximab together with oblimersen works in treating patients with stage II, stage III, or stage IV follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
A Study of Galiximab + Rituximab Versus Rituximab + Placebo in Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma...
LymphomaNon-Hodgkin'sThis is a Phase III, multicenter, global, clinical study of an investigational drug called galiximab in combination with an approved drug called rituximab in subjects with follicular NHL. The purpose of the study is to compare the clinical benefit of galiximab when given in combination with rituximab as compared with rituximab alone (given with placebo) in subjects with follicular NHL. Safety and pharmacokinetics (PK) of galiximab and rituximab will also be evaluated.
MDX-010 in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Lymphoma
Adult Grade III Lymphomatoid GranulomatosisB-cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia21 moreBiological therapies, such as MDX-010, work in different ways to stimulate the immune system and stop cancer cells from growing. This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of MDX-010 and to see how well it works in treating patients with recurrent or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Oblimersen and Gemcitabine in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumor or Lymphoma

Oblimersen may increase the effectiveness of gemcitabine by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of oblimersen and gemcitabine in treating patients with metastatic or unresectable solid tumors or lymphoma
A Phase 2 Study of Velcade™ in Subjects With Relapsed or Refractory Follicular B-Cell Lymphoma
Follicular LymphomaThis is a prospective, randomized, sequential, international, multicentric, 2-arm, non-comparative, open-label, 2-stage clinical study to determine disease response rates to Velcade™ therapy in subjects who have relapsed or refractory follicular B-cell lymphoma. Qualitative comparisons of the 2 treatment arms based on safety, efficacy and dosing convenience will be made in order to recommend a dose schedule for further clinical study.
