Biomarkers in Tumor Tissue Samples From Patients With Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma or Natural Killer...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Studying samples of tumor tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. It may also help doctors find better ways to treat the cancer. PURPOSE: This research trial studies biomarkers in tumor tissue samples from patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma or natural killer cell neoplasms.
A Prospective Observational Study to Evaluate the Quality of Life and the Costs in a Real Life Setting...
LymphomaFollicular1 moreThe objective of this study is to compare hematological toxicity, costs, health-related quality of Life (HR-QOL) and outcomes observed in real life in the Belgian Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) population receiving 90Y-Zevalin, with model-predicted data at reimbursement on the basis of a clinical trial in heavily pre-treated NHL.
Methemoglobinemia in Young Patients With Hematologic Cancer or Aplastic Anemia Treated With Dapsone...
Chronic Myeloproliferative DisordersLeukemia7 moreRATIONALE: Gathering information about how often methemoglobinemia occurs in young patients receiving dapsone for hematologic cancer or aplastic anemia may help doctors learn more about the disease and plan the best treatment. PURPOSE: This research study is looking at methemoglobinemia in young patients with hematologic cancer or aplastic anemia treated with dapsone.
Assessing Arsenic Trioxide in Young Patients With Leukemia or Lymphoma Who Were Treated on Clinical...
LeukemiaLymphomaRATIONALE: Studying bone marrow and blood samples from patients with leukemia or lymphoma treated with arsenic trioxide may help doctors learn more about cancer. PURPOSE: This research study is assessing arsenic trioxide in young patients with recurrent or refractory leukemia or lymphoma who were treated on clinical trial NCI-00-C-0070J.
Study of Biomarkers Using Tissue Samples From Older Patients With Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Studying samples of tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer. It may also help doctors understand how patients respond to treatment. PURPOSE: This laboratory study is looking at biomarkers using tissue samples from older patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma treated with combination chemotherapy with or without rituximab on clinical trial ECOG-E4494.
Metabolic Syndrome in Childhood Cancer Survivors
Brain and Central Nervous System TumorsLeukemia3 moreRATIONALE: Gathering information about how often metabolic syndrome occurs in young survivors of childhood cancer may help doctors learn more about the disease. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying metabolic syndrome in survivors of childhood cancer and in their healthy sisters and brothers.
Study of Blood and Tissue Samples From Patients With Aggressive Non-Hodgkin B-Cell Lymphoma or Hodgkin...
LymphomaNonneoplastic ConditionRATIONALE: Studying samples of blood and tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This research study is looking at blood and tissue samples from patients with aggressive non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma or Hodgkin lymphoma.
Clinical Evaluations and Laboratory Studies to Study the Disease Course in Patients With Cutaneous...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Gathering information about patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma over time may help doctors learn more about the disease. PURPOSE: This natural history study is collecting disease-related health information over time from patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
Endothelial Function and IMT in Survivors of Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Hodgkin's LymphomaThe aim of the proposed study is to assess endothelial function and IMT, as correlates of cardiovascular disease (CVD), in young adult Hodgkin's disease (HD) survivors, and to relate endothelial function to other risk factors including obesity, dyslipidemia, hyperinsulinemia and fasting glucose.
Biaxin Based Antibiotic Therapy in Previously Untreated, Advanced Stage Indolent Lymphoma
LymphomaThe purpose of this study is to see if a treatment with Biaxin (clarithromycin) which is an antibiotic given by mouth for 3 months can delay the growth of your lymphoma or shrink the lymphoma. We would also like to see how Biaxin (clarithromycin) works on lymphoma and blood cells. There is some evidence that this medication may change the behavior of lymphocytes, in addition to its known anti-infection activity.
