Monoclonal antibodies can locate cancer cells and either kill them or deliver cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of monoclonal antibody therapy in treating patients who have chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lymphocytic lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, or acute myeloid leukemia.

B-cell Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma15 more

Monoclonal antibodies, such as yttrium Y 90 ibritumomab tiuxetan, can block find cancer cells and either kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Giving monoclonal antibodies, low doses of chemotherapy, such as fludarabine phosphate, and low dose total-body radiation therapy before a donor peripheral stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells and also stops the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune cells and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving cyclosporine or mycophenolate mofetil after the transplant may stop this from happening

Bortezomib and Fludarabine With or Without Rituximab in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory...

Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueHematopoietic/Lymphoid Cancer10 more

This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of bortezomib when given together with fludarabine with or without rituximab in treating patients with relapsed or refractory indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for cancer cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as fludarabine, work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving bortezomib together with fludarabine with or without rituximab may kill more cancer cells.

Anaplastic Large Cell LymphomaCutaneous B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma15 more

This phase II trial is studying how well giving iodine I 131 tositumomab together with etoposide and cyclophosphamide followed by autologous stem cell transplant works in treating patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies, such as iodine I 131 tositumomab, can find cancer cells and deliver radioactive cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as etoposide and cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Combining a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody with combination chemotherapy before autologous stem cell transplant may kill more cancer cells

Bendamustine Hydrochloride, Etoposide, Dexamethasone, and Filgrastim For Peripheral Blood Stem Cell...

Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma27 more

This phase II trial is studying how well giving bendamustine hydrochloride, etoposide, dexamethasone, and filgrastim together for peripheral stem cell mobilization works in treating patients with refractory or recurrent lymphoma or multiple myeloma. Giving chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride, etoposide, and dexamethasone, before a peripheral stem cell transplant stops the growth of cancer cells by stopping them from dividing or killing them. Giving colony-stimulating factors, such as filgrastim, and certain chemotherapy drugs helps stem cells move from the bone marrow to the blood so they can be collected and stored

This phase I trial is studying how well monoclonal antibody therapy with peripheral stem cell transplant works in treating patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Peripheral stem cell transplant may allow the doctor to give higher doses of monoclonal antibodies and kill more cancer cells

Deferasirox for Treating Patients Who Have Undergone Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant and Have Iron...

Iron OverloadAccelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia102 more

RATIONALE: Low dose deferasirox may be safe and effective in treating patients who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplant and have iron overload. PURPOSE: This pilot clinical trial studies safety and tolerability of deferasirox in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients who have iron overload. Effect of low dose deferasirox on labile plasma iron is also examined.

Acalabrutinib and Duvelisib for the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Indolent Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma...

Recurrent Follicular LymphomaRecurrent Marginal Zone Lymphoma7 more

This phase Ib/II trial studies the side effects of acalabrutinib and duvelisib and how well they work in treating patients with indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Acalabrutinib inhibits a signaling molecule called Bruton tyrosine kinase and blocks cancer cell proliferation, growth, and survival. Duvelisib is designed to block a protein called PI3 kinase in order to stop cancer growth and cause changes in the immune system that may allow the immune system to better act against cancer cells. Giving acalabrutinib and duvelisib together may work better to block cancer growth than therapy of either drug alone.
