S1703 Serum Tumor Marker Directed Disease Monitoring in Patients With Hormone Receptor Positive...
Anatomic Stage IV Breast Cancer AJCC v8Estrogen Receptor Positive4 moreThis randomized research trial studies how well serum tumor marker directed disease monitoring works in monitoring patients with hormone receptor positive Her2 negative breast cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Using markers to prompt when scans should be ordered may be as good as the usual approach to monitoring disease.
Genetic Characteristics of Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients
Metastatic Breast CancerGenomic analysis for metastatic breast cancer(MBC) patients Participant (Inclusion criteria) Patients who diagnosed metastatic/stage IV breast cancer Patients who were not received treatment for metastatic breast cancer on palliative setting Process (1) Tissue/ Blood sample At diagnosis, MBC tissue / blood sample (20cc) will be obtained. At disease progression after 1st line treatment for MBC, blood sample (20cc) will be obtained (tissue; optional) (2) WES, RNASeq, ctDNA, Exosome We will analyze genomic characteritics using WES, RNASeq, ctDNA, Exosome.
Peer Support For Young Adult Women With High Breast Cancer Risk
Breast Cancer RiskThis trial will recruit young adult female relatives (YARs) of male or female carriers of BRCA1/2. YARs who consent to participate will be randomized to either a 3-session peer coach-led telephone counseling intervention or usual care navigation to peer support interventions provided by community organizations that support the hereditary cancer community. Study aims are to 1) Assess intervention effects on distress and decision making outcomes, including uptake of counseling for untested YARs, 2) Identify YARs most likely to engage with and benefit from the intervention, 3) Understand intervention mechanisms. Participants will complete interviews at baseline, 1, 6, and 12 months.
Study of the Impact of DPD Activity on the Efficacy of Capecitabine
Breast Neoplasm Malignant FemaleThis study evaluates the Impact of DihydroPyrimidine Dehydrogenase (DPD) activity on the efficacy of Capecitabine in patients with metastatic breast cancer. The DPD phenotype before the initiation of treatment will be assess and then the patient will be follow up during the treatment with Capecitabine up to 24 month.
Netupitant/Palonosetron Hydrochloride and Dexamethasone With or Without Prochlorperazine or Olanzapine...
Breast CarcinomaThis randomized phase III trial studies how well netupitant/palonosetron hydrochloride and dexamethasone with prochlorperazine or olanzapine work compared to netupitant/palonosetron hydrochloride and dexamethasone in improving chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in patients with breast cancer. Antiemetic drugs, such as prochlorperazine and olanzapine, may help lessen nausea and vomiting in patients with breast cancer treated with chemotherapy.
Gut Microbe Composition, Exercise, and Breast Breast Cancer Survivors
Breast CancerGut Microbiome2 moreThe primary goal of this project is to determine the effects of exercise on the gut microbiome in breast cancer survivors and determine how these changes may relate to psychosocial symptoms such as fatigue.
Optimized Rehabilitation Following Primary Breast Cancer Surgery
RehabilitationBreast Neoplasms1 moreThis study aims to evaluate the effects of an intervention based on systematic screening of psychological distress as the basis for individualised support and rehabilitation following primary breast cancer surgery focusing on psychological , physical and health-economics outcomes. The aim is also to illuminate patients' and relatives' experiences and need of support during the rehabilitation .
Phase 3 Study Randomized Evaluating the Efficacy of Auriculotherapy in Patients With Musculoskeletal...
Musculoskeletal PainBreast CancerAuriculotherapy is a complementary medicine, with few side effects, without contraindication, inexpensive and not very restrictive. Its efficacy has been found in several tests especially for the treatment of intraoperative pain. It remains more controversial in other indications. Evaluation of the value of auriculotherapy is often difficult because of the methodological limitations of the trials conducted. In the daily practice, the auriculotherapy is proposed to improve the articular pains of patients treated by AA. This Phase III study aims at validate this approach.
Online Dietary and Resistance Training to Improve Physical Function in Older Cancer Survivors, E-PROOF...
Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v87 moreThis phase I trial tests the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness of online dietary and resistance training to improve physical function in older (greater than or equal to 65-years old) cancer survivors. Declines in adequate protein and calorie intake results in faster loss of muscle mass and physical functioning in older adults. A novel approach to improving physical function in older cancer survivors (OCS) is to utilize online, tailored education and counseling from registered dietitians and exercise scientists, to improve dietary intake (protein intake, diet quality) and participation in resistance exercise. The purpose of this study is to help researchers learn whether an online dietary and resistance training intervention improves diet, exercise, physical function, and health outcomes in OCS.
Interventions to Decrease Financial Toxicity
CancerBreast6 moreFinancial distress affects 30-70% of cancer patients and describes the burden that patients experience due to the costs of care (CoC). One reason may be because patients lack the appropriate information on CoC that would help them better plan for and manage their CoC. Therefore, the investigators plan to test a Proactive CoC intervention which includes a discussion with a trained educator on CoC information and a Cost Tracking tool to help patients deal with their CoC.
