αPD1-MSLN-CAR T Cells for the Treatment of MSLN-positive Advanced Solid Tumors
Non-small-cell Lung CancerMesotheliomaThis is a single arm, open-label, dose escalation clinical study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of autologous mesothelin (MSLN)-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (MSLN-CAR) T cells secreting PD-1 nanobodies (αPD1-MSLN-CAR T cells) in patients with solid tumors.

A Clinical Trial of ADI-PEG 20TM in Patients With Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma
Malignant Pleural MesotheliomaTo examine whether the arginine depleting drug, ADI-PEG 20, might be effective as a targeted therapy in patients with ASS-negative malignant pleural mesothelioma.

Phase I Dose-Escalation Study Of Azacitidine In Combination With Temozolomide
Soft Tissue SarcomaMesotheliomaThe purpose of this study is to determine safety and toxicity for the combination of Temozolomide and Azacitidine in the treatment of Advanced Soft Tissue Sarcoma or Malignant Mesothelioma. This is a single-center, open-label, single-arm Phase I dose-escalation trial. Patients will be evaluated with complete history and physical as well as laboratory studies (complete blood count, metabolic panel, liver function tests), biopsy, and imaging of all sites of measurable disease. This study will be conducted over the course of 3 years.

High-Dose Megestrol in Treating Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer, Endometrial Cancer, or Mesothelioma...
Breast CancerEndometrial Cancer1 moreRATIONALE: Some hormones can stimulate the growth of some types of cancer cells. Hormone therapy using megestrol may fight cancer by reducing the production of these hormones. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of high-dose megestrol in treating patients with metastatic breast cancer, endometrial cancer, or mesothelioma which cannot be treated with surgery or radiation therapy.

Mesothelioma Early Detection by VOCs
Pleural MesotheliomaAsbestos Exposure1 moreThis is a two phase study, The first phase (phase 1) will identify potential biomarkers among asbestos exposed individuals with pleural mesothelioma. The second phase (phase 2), is a double blinded case-matched controlled study to determine the predictive capability, sensitivity, and specificity of these biomarkers in detecting early stage pleural mesothelioma. Biomarkers in the form of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in exhaled breath samples from subjects with either pleural mesothelioma or pleural plaques, will be evaluated. A biomarker present in serum will also be concurrently evaluated in the same cohort. The soluble serum biomarker mesothelin related peptides (SMRP), which has been posited as a biomarker for mesothelioma, will be analyzed for its relationship to the breath VOC profile.

177Lu-DOTA-TATE and Olaparib in Somatostatin Receptor Positive Tumours
Clinical TrialPhase I3 moreThis is a phase I study of 177Lu-DOTA-TATE in combination with the PARP-inhibitor olaparib for treatment of patients with somatostatin receptor positive tumours detected by 68Ga-DOTA-TATE/TOC PET. The combination of a PARP inhibitor that will specifically target the repair mechanism, with ionising radiation causing SSB's might overcome the repair dependent survival of the tumour cells, making them more sensitive to β-emission and increase the probability of tumour cell death.

Autologous CAR-T/TCR-T Cell Immunotherapy for Malignancies
B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaLymphoma14 moreThis is a single arm, open-label, uni-center, phase I-II study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of CAR-T/TCR-T cell immunotherapy in treating with different malignancies patients.

A Study of Tremelimumab Combined With the Anti-PD-L1 MEDI4736 Antibody in Malignant Mesothelioma...
Pleural MesotheliomaPeritoneal MesotheliomaThis phase 2, open-label, single arm study aims to evaluate the efficacy of tremelimumab in combination with the anti-PD-L1 MEDI4736 in patients with unresectable malignant mesothelioma subjects

Cardiac MRI Biomarker Testing (GCC 1618)
Breast CancerLung Cancer (Non-Small Cell)3 moreThis research study can help understand how cardiac changes may occur with radiation therapy to the heart based off measurements obtained through biomarkers and cardiac imaging. Researchers plan to perform cardiac imaging and biomarkers for any cardiac injury. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) provides the ability to quantitatively measure cardiac function and injury. The cardiac biomarkers that will be tested are effective in the diagnosis, risk-stratification, and monitoring of heart failure.

Combination of Immunotherapy and Hyperthermia in Advanced Malignant Mesothelioma
CancerMesothelioma1 moreThe purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical efficacy and toxicity of anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody plus autologous dendritic cells-cytokine induced killer cell (DC-CIK) immunotherapy combined with hyperthermia in advanced malignant mesothelioma patients.Furthermore,to characterize response to therapy, the investigators intent to explore the predictive biomarker for this regimen.
