The Effect of Immediate Implant Placement and Provisionalization in the Esthetic Zone
JawEdentulous1 moreThe purpose of this study is to compare two different techniques of placing dental implants: 1) removing the tooth and placing the implant immediately and 2) removing the tooth and placing both the implant and a temporary crown immediately. Both procedures currently are accepted methods for replacing missing teeth but direct comparisons of the two procedures are lacking. The results of this study should aid clinicians in selecting the best implant placement technique for their patients.
Submerged vs. Nonsubmerged Single Laser-microgrooved Dental Implants.
Partially Edentulous MaxillaMandibleAim: to evaluate and compare radiographic marginal bone loss (MBL) and soft tissue parameters around submerged/two-stage and nonsubmerged/one-stage single implants with same tapered body design and surface, same thread design and distance, and same collar surface (laser-microgrooved), after 3 years of loading.
Comparison of Modified Circular and Natural Tooth Brushing Methods in Effectiveness of Dental Plaque...
HealthyPlaque level in subjects using the Modified Circular method is different from that in subjects using natural tooth brushing method. Gingivitis level in subjects using the Modified Circular method is different from that in subjects using natural tooth brushing method. Level of plaque after using the Modified Circular method is different from that before using the method. Level of gingivitis after using the Modified Circular method is different from that before using the method.
Digital Versus Conventional Full-arch Implant Impression in Maxillary Screw- Retained Implant Prosthesis...
JawEdentulous28 participants with edentulous maxillary arches were randomly selected and enrolled in two equal groups; Group I conventional impression group (CIG) and Group II Digital impression group (DIG). All patients were rehabilitated with maxillary screw-retained implant prosthesis retained by 6 implants. Prosthodontic complications and peri-implant MBL were registered at 6,12, and 24 months (m). Data was collected and statistically analyzed.
Bio-HPP vs Cast Co-cr as Implant Framework
Edentulous Alveolar RidgeThe purpose of this study was to assess the effect of Bio-Hpp versus Co-Cr custom abutments in fixed-detachable implant-supported mandibular partial dentures clinically and radiographically in Class I Kennedy classification (split-mouth study)
Simplified Versus Conventional Technique for Complete Denture Fabrication.
EdentulousThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a simplified technique of conventional dentures fabrication, comparing it to a traditional technique, by evaluating the impact of oral health on quality of life, satisfaction of individuals and chewing efficiency as well assessing the quality of prosthetics and TMD. Furthermore, the cost involved in the manufacture of dentures through technique simplified will be compared to the cost involved in the traditional technique.
Abutment Macro Design and Peri-implant Tissues
EdentulousThe aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of abutment macro-design on soft and hard tissue responses. This trial is designed as a randomized controlled clinical study in which two groups of fourteen partially edentulous patients will have as part of their treatment one implant placed in the maxillary premolar region.
3D Radiographic Evaluation of a Novel Implant Site Development Technique
Tooth Extraction Status NosEdentulous Alveolar RidgeThe present retrospective study aims at assessing the clinical effects of a novel implant site development (Extraction site development - XSD) technique after tooth extraction compared with extraction alone in patients requiring dental implant placement following healing of extraction sockets.
XiVE® CAD/CAM Bridges (Abutment-supported/ Implant-supported)
Partly Edentulous MaxillaThis study has been designed in order to collect data with regards to the peri-implant tissue outcome of abutment-supported restoration and direct implant-fixed restoration. Therefore a small group of subjects with partly edentulous maxilla is selected to show that both techniques are efficient and safe and to show comparable peri-implant tissue outcome for both methods. At the time of impression forming for each centre treatment A (= abutment-supported XiVE® CAD/CAM supra-structure) and B (= direct implant-fixed XiVE® CAD/CAM supra-structure) is assigned to the left and right side of the maxilla by being randomized at the time of impression forming.
Evaluation of the Accuracy of Full Digital Workflow for Guided Implant Surgery Using the R2 Gate...
Partially Edentulous MaxillaPartially Edentulous MandibleThe primary aim of the present study is to compare the accuracy of a full digital workflow for dental implants insertion to a partially digital workflow, for a limited edentulous space (1 to 3 dental units), in the maxilla or mandible.
