ALDH2 Mutation in Taiwanese Head and Neck Cancer
DermatitisMucositisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of ALDH2 mutation in radiation associating dermatitis or mucositis in head and neck cancer patients who accept chemoradiation therapy
Analysis of Oral Mucositis in Patient's Undergoing Melphalan Conditioning and Autologous Stem Cell...
MucositisMultiple Myeloma2 moreThis is a pilot study to explore and identify changes in molecular processes within the oral mucosa that are associated with the development of oral mucositis (OM) in patients treated with Melphalan who undergo autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation.
Predictive Factors of Acute Oral Mucositis Induced by Chemo-radiotherapy for Local Advanced Nasopharyngeal...
Nasopharyngeal NeoplasmsStomatitisThis is a prospective, observational study to analyze the clinical and dosimetric factors about the radiation oral mucositis caused by radical chemo-radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and try to find the indicators for acute radiation oral mucositis.
Predictor Analysis of Acute Radiation Oral Mucositis in NPC Patients Treated With IMRT/TOMO Combined...
Nasopharyngeal CarcinomaRadiation induced oral mucositis which may result in reduced quality of life is commonly seen during radiotherapy, especially combined with chemotherapy. This study is a prospective, single center, and exploratory study. Two contour methods of oral mucosal will be used in this study. All detail information will be recorded prospectively. The aim of this study is to explore predictive factors of acute radiotherapy induced oral mucositis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients treated with new precise radiotherapy (intensity modulated radiotherapy or tomography radiotherapy) by using different dosimetric parameters and clinically relevant variables.
The Endoscopic Assesment of Intestinal Grafts
Transplant; IntestineTransplant; Complication5 moreThe study validates prospectively a new endoscopic scoring system (Gothenburg Intestinal Transplant Endoscopy Score, GITES) designed to summarize and stratify the abnormal ileal endoscopic findings after intestinal transplantation. GITES is a five-tier, four grade score which asseses mucosal friability, mucosal erythema and mucosal injury (ulcerations) as well as villous changes according to severity. These features (i.e., endoscopic descriptors) are also grouped from mild to very severe in the same sequence as observed during the progression of several pathologic conditions encountered after intestinal transplantation (acute rejection, infectious enteritis).
Aphtostomatitis and Mucositis Treatment by Natural Herbal Formula (Sorend®)
AphtostomatitisMucositisSorend is a water-based formula, which contains carob, melissa and sage. Elder inhabitants of Israel are known to use carob extract to ease sores in the mouth, due to the tannins which create a complex with various proteins and polysaccharides, thus creating an impenetrable layer covering the sores, allowing spontaneous healing.
Observational Study of Anti-Cancer Therapy Induced Oral Mucositis in Korean Cancer Patients
Oral Mucositisto survey oral mucositis after chemotherapy and Concurrent chemoradiotherapy in Korean cancer patients
TRIAD Burden of Illness Mucositis Study
Gastrointestinal Mucositis (Defined as Mucositis Involving the MouthEsophagus1 moreObservational (non-drug) study to look at the risks and burden of mucositis (sores) involving the mouth, throat and intestines in patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatment for various cancer types.
