Pharmacokinetics and Safety of Oral Posaconazole (MK-5592)Tablets in Chinese Participants at High...
Fungal InfectionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and safety of oral posaconazole tablets in Chinese participants at high risk for invasive fungal infections. Neutropenic participants undergoing chemotherapy for acute myelogenous leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes will be enrolled in the study.
Low Dose Total Skin Electron Beam Radiation Therapy and Mechlorethamine Hydrochloride Gel in Treating...
Mycosis FungoidesThis phase II trial studies how well low dose total skin electron beam radiation therapy and mechlorethamine hydrochloride gel work in treating patients with mycosis fungoides. Total skin electron beam radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays directed at the entire surface of the body to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Mechlorethamine hydrochloride gel may help patients in remission of disease, reduction in disease staging, and enhanced quality of life. Giving total skin electron beam radiation therapy and mechlorethamine hydrochloride gel may work better in treating patients with mycosis fungoides.
A Study of Itraconazole in the Management of Superficial Fungal Infections in India
MycosesThe purpose of this study is to estimate the proportion of participants prescribed itraconazole for Tinea cruris or Tinea corporis who have clinical response after 7 days of treatment.
Retrospective Observational Study on Infective Complications and Outcome of Patients With ALL Treated...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaInfections3 moreThe goal of this observational study is to learn about infectious complications in patients affected by B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated with inotuzumab-ozogamicin (INO). The main question it aims to answer is: • incidence of infectious complications (bacterial, fungal, viral) in patients receiving inotuzumab ozogamicin up to 60 days after the end of treatment
ADME Study of [14C]-Ibrexafungerp in Healthy Male Subjects
Fungal InfectionThis is a Phase 1, open-label, single-centre, non-randomised study to evaluate the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) of an oral solution of [14C]-ibrexafungerp following administration in healthy male subjects. Each subject will receive a single dose of [14C]-ibrexafungerp and will be followed for up to 20 days. During this period total radioactivity will be measured in blood, urine and faeces.
Absorption, Metabolism and Excretion of 14C-olorofim in Man
Invasive Fungal InfectionsSingle-centre, open-label, non-randomised, single dose study in 2 cohorts of healthy subjects. It is planned to enrol 6 healthy male subjects in Cohort A (standard mass balance and metabolite profiling cohort) and up to 6 subjects in Cohort B (biliary evaluation cohort); each subject will receive a single oral administration of 120 mg [14C]-olorofim oral solution containing approximately 3.7 MBq (100 µCi).
Pharmacokinetics of Micafungin Given Twice Weekly Intravenously Compared to Micafungin Given Daily...
Acute Graft Versus Host Disease Grade II-IVAllogeneic Stem Cell Transplant2 moreThe primary objective of this trial is as follows: To determine the pharmacokinetics of micafungin given twice weekly in patients at risk for developing an invasive fungal disease (patients who are being treated for acute or chronic graft versus host disease; patients receiving reduced intensity conditioning for Stem Cell Transplant (SCT); receiving first remission induction chemotherapy for Acute Myeloid Leucaemia (AML)/MyeloDysplasticSyndrome (MDS)) compared to the pharmacokinetics of micafungin given daily. The secondary objective of this trial is as follows: To determine whether adequate exposure of micafungin is attained. To determine the safety of micafungin in this patient population
Safety of Fluconazole Treatment of Premature and Full-term Newborn Infants
Ductus ArteriosisPatent1 moreThis study will investigate pharmacological interventions between fluconazole and ibuprofen when they are given to premature newborn babys. This in order to find out if the drugs are influencing each other when they are given at the same time. The study is meant to find out if there are reasons to adjust the dose when fluconazole and ibuprofen are given together.
Lithium Carbonate in Treating Patients With Acute Intestinal Graft-Versus-Host-Disease (GVHD) After...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission114 moreRATIONALE: Lithium carbonate may be an effective treatment for intestinal graft-versus-host disease caused by a donor stem cell transplant. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying lithium carbonate in treating patients with acute intestinal graft-versus-host-disease after donor stem cell transplant.
Ondansetron in Preventing Nausea and Vomiting in Patients Undergoing Stem Cell Transplant
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission104 moreRATIONALE: Ondansetron may help lessen or prevent nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing stem cell transplant. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well ondansetron works in preventing nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing stem cell transplant.
