Clinical Study of HR20013 for Injection in Patients With Malignant Solid Tumors
Prevention of Nausea and Vomiting Caused by Highly Emetogenic ChemotherapyTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of HR20013 for injection for prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting after highly emetogenic chemotherapy.
The Safety, Tolerability and Efficacy of Dronabinol, for the Treatment of Nausea and Vomiting in...
NauseaVomiting1 moreThis is a pilot clinical trial of dronabinol to treat disabling attacks of nausea and vomiting in patients with familial dysautonomia (FD, also known as Riley Day syndrome or hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type III). FD is a rare autosomal recessive disease in which the growth and development of selective nerves is impaired. Patients with FD suffer recurrent uncontrollable nausea and vomiting crises accompanied by skin flushing, tachycardia and arterial hypertension. Current treatments of nausea are ineffective or have intolerable side sides. Our long-term goal is to treat nausea effectively and without side effects, a therapeutic intervention that would markedly improve the quality of life of patients with FD.
Effectiveness of Triple Therapy With Palonosetron for PON Prophylaxis
Postoperative Nausea and VomitingPostoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is a displeasing experience that distresses surgical patients during the first 24 hours after a surgical procedure. The incidence of postoperative nausea occurs in about 50%, the incidence of postoperative vomiting is about 30%, and in high-risk patients, the PONV rate could be as high as 80%. Therefore, the study design of this single arm, non-randomized, pilot study assessed the efficacy and safety profile of a triple therapy combination with palonosetron, dexamethasone and promethazine to prevent PONV in patients undergoing craniotomies under general anesthesia.
Scopolamine Patch and Acupressure Point P6 Stimulation for Reduction of Nausea and Vomiting During...
NauseaVomiting1 moreThe purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of reducing intra-cesarean section nausea and vomiting with regional anesthesia in subjects who will receive scopolamine patch with acupressure point P6 stimulation versus subjects that receive just scopolamine patch versus subjects that receive just acupressure point P6 stimulation.

Effects of Ondansetron Dose and Timing on Post-operative Nausea and Vomiting
Post-operative Nausea and VomitingThe aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of three different regimens of prophylactic ondansetron on the incidence and severity of post-operative nausea and vomiting.
Effect of Pulmonary Recruitment Maneuver (PRM) on Pain and Nausea After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy...
PainPostoperative1 moreThis prospective, blinded, randomized clinical trial investigates the effect on postoperative pain and nausea, when performing a ventilator-piloted PRM at the end of a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Simplified Algorithm for the Prevention of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting in an Oncological Hospital...
Postoperative NauseaPostoperative VomitingPrevious history of nausea and vomiting induced by prior chemotherapy still not included as predictive factor of postoperative nausea and vomiting, although has been demonstrated that has influence in postoperative outcome. The project aims to evaluate the efficacy of a simplified algorithm in prevention postoperative nausea and vomiting , with pacients with previous history of nausea and vomiting induced by prior chemotherapy, submitted to medium or large surgery.
Hemodynamic Protection of Preoperative Ondansetron 15 Minutes Before Spinal Anaesthesia in Caesarean...
HypotensionNausea1 moreSpinal anaesthesia for caesarean section is the most commonly used anaesthetic choice in caesarean deliveries. This is usually associated with maternal hypotension and other adverse side effects. Prophylactic intravenous administration of ondansetron immediately and 5 minutes preoperatively have shown to provide a protective effect against hypotension while other studies have shown little effect on the incidence of blood pressure drop in healthy parturients. The investigators will study the effect of different doses and timing of intravenous ondansetron in full term obstetric patients undergoing elective lower segment caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia on the incidence and severity of hypotension and other adverse side effects in healthy parturients having the standard intrathecal plain bupivacaine and fentanyl.
The Effect of Ginger on the Incidence of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting
Postoperative Nausea and VomitingThis study evaluates the effectiveness of ginger on the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing gynaecological surgery. Half the patients were given an oral dose of ginger preoperatively and half received placebo.
