RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as cetuximab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan, leucovorin, and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving cetuximab together with combination chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving cetuximab together with combination chemotherapy works as first-line therapy in treating patients with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and/or lung.

To evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of sunitinib plus FOLFIRI (irinotecan, 5-FU and l-leucovorin) in the first-line treatment of Japanese mCRC patients

Phase 1b, safety, pharmacokinetic, and efficacy, multicenter, dose-escalating Study of Imprime PGG™ Injection dosed in combination with Cetuximab and concomitant irinotecan therapy. Enrolled patients will have a confirmed diagnosis of recurrent or progressive colorectal carcinoma following treatment with a 5-fluorouracil-containing regimen.

The purpose of this study is to address the question of whether or not oral alimentation and ambulation exercise should be begun early in patients following laparoscopic colorectal surgery compared to the classical diet and ambulation which depends on reappearance of functional intestinal transit. Early oral alimentation following laparoscopic colorectal surgery may decrease hospital stay and facilitate earlier discharge with comparable postoperative morbidity.

The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of KRN330 in patients with relapsed or refractory advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer.

This is an open label single arm prospective multicenter Phase II study in around 20 patients. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether the addition of sunitinib to FOLFIRI results in a significant reduction of tumor vessel permeability (TVP) and blood flow (BF) measured by DCE-MRI and DCE-USI, measured on liver metastases. Secondary objectives are antitumor response, time to progression (TTP), effect on pharmacokinetics of sunitinib and biomarkers (VEGF und soluble VEGF-receptor) and drug/treatment safety.

Giving panitumumab together with irinotecan may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II clinical trial is studying giving panitumumab together with irinotecan to see how well it works as third-line therapy in treating patients with metastatic colorectal cancer.

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan, oxaliplatin, leucovorin, and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Giving combination chemotherapy together with bevacizumab may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is comparing two combination chemotherapy regimens given together with bevacizumab to see how well they work as first-line therapy in treating patients with metastatic colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.

This study will evaluate whether NKTR-102, an investigational drug has an anti-tumor effect in patients with colorectal cancer. This study will also evaluate how the safety and anti-tumor activity of NKTR-102 compares with irinotecan, a cancer drug that is approved for use in the US for treatment of patients with certain types of colorectal cancer.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the combination of Panitumumab with Irinotecan in patients with Wild-Type KRAS metastatic colorectal cancer refractory to irinotecan based chemotherapy.
