Influence of PET/CT Radiomic Features on the Outcome of Lung Cancer Patients
Lung CancerImage1 moreRadiomics is an attractive field in objectively quantifying image features, and may overcome the subjectivity of visually interpreting computed tomography (CT), or positron emission tomography (PET). It is reported that the features related to treatment response, outcomes, tumor staging, tissue identification, and cancer genetics. Therefore, the investigators try to explore the key features for the outcome of lung cancer patients.
Treatment Patterns in Advanced Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC)
Lung CancerNon-interventional, retrospective study of advanced SCLC patients in 4 European countries (France, Germany, Italy, and United Kingdom [UK]) with the aim to produce evidence across different SCLC treatment lines to characterize the clinical and economic burden of the disease in Europe.
Observational Study for Lung Cancer Patients Treated With Nivolumab
Lung CancerThis study will describe the characteristics of patients initiating nivolumab treatment for lung cancer and their outcomes over 3 years in France
Efficacy of metfOrmin in PrevenTIng Glucocorticoid-induced Diabetes in Patients With Brain Metastases...
Brain MetastasesMelanoma2 moreThis is a monocentric, open label, randomized Phase II study in patients with brain metastasis from melanoma, lung or breast cancer, who require treatment with high-dose dexamethasone, as defined as a minimum of 8 mg daily based on the clinician judgment, for at least three weeks, with or without radiation therapy. The aim is to investigate the metformin efficacy in preventing the onset of glucocorticoid-induced diabetes and other metabolic perturbations in patients with brain metastases from melanoma, lung or breast cancer.
CIrculating Tumour DNA in Lung Cancer (CITaDeL): Optimizing Sensitivity and Clinical Utility
Lung NeoplasmsLung Cancer2 moreThis is a prospective observation study in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) starting either cytotoxic chemotherapy or radiation therapy. It will assess changes in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the days following the initiation of treatment, as well as longitudinal monitoring, to assess the dynamics and value of ctDNA in stage III-IV NSCLC.
A Study of Smoking Cessation Patterns in Participants Undergoing Lung Surgery
Lung NeoplasmsPulmonary Disease1 moreThe purpose of this study is to assess the current smoking status and smoking cessation attempts among smokers or recent smoking quitters during the perioperative period, to describe postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) and other postoperative complications (PCs) following a lung surgery, and to describe the smoking cessation methods and services patients received from their health care professionals (HCPs) and participant's satisfaction among participants with lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), a pulmonary lesion (example, nodule, or ground glass opacity) or other pulmonary conditions who are admitted to the thoracic surgical unit of the participating hospitals in China.
Decision Counseling Program in Increasing Shared Decision Making and Clinical Trial Participation...
Lung CancerThis clinical trial studies how well the Decision Counseling Program works in increasing patient-physician shared decision making and participation in clinical trials for lung cancer patients. Decision aids help provide patients with information that may help them select a course of action related to their cancer care when more than one alternative is available. It also encourages shared decision making allowing patients and their providers to make health decisions together. Determining how patients make decisions about participating in a clinical trial may help doctors facilitate patient decision making and improve participation in lung cancer clinical trials.
Adaptive CT Acquisition for Personalised Thoracic Imaging
CancerLungIn this trial, Respiratory Motion Guided (RMG) 4DCBCT will be implemented for the first time on lung cancer patients. RMG-4DCBCT adapts the image acquisition as the patient's breathing changes (i.e. if the patient breathes faster, imaging data is acquired faster). By adapting the acquisition to the dynamic patient, personalised images of a patients lungs are able to be acquired for radiotherapy treatments.
Feasibility of a Web-based Patient Reported Outcome Symptom Monitoring Application in Danish Lung...
Lung Cancer Stage IVThe trial is a pilot study prior to a following phase III trial and is designed to test the feasibility, acceptability and technical usability of supplementary web-based follow-up in lung cancer via a patient-reported outcome application.
Treatment Patterns, Clinical Outcomes, and Healthcare Resource Utilization Associated With Chinese...
Lung CancerNon-small Cell Lung Cancer NSCLC1 moreThe purpose of the study is to document real-world pattern of care, outcomes and health resource use for participants diagnosed with and receiving treatment for advanced Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and extensive disease Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) in China.
