Efficacy of Nebulized Pulmicort Respules in Primary Lung Cancer Patients With COPD

To test the hypothesis that nebulized Pulmicort Respules could reduce post operation pulmonary complication incidence in primary lung cancer patients with COPD. Compare post-operation pulmonary complication incidence in two treatment arms among primary lung cancer patients with COPD required single lobectomy from 3days before operation to 7 days after operation.

There are some risks of pulmonary edema in patients undergoing pulmonary lobectomy with one lung ventilation. The overloading of fluid administration could be related to the development of pulmonary edema in patents after thoracic surgery. But fluid restriction may cause major organ hypoperfusion during the surgery. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of stroke volume variation as an indicator for a fluid responsiveness in patient who receives pulmonary lobectomy via thoracotomy.

The aim of this pilot study is to evaluate EBUS elastography strain ratio in assessment of mediastinal lymph nodes in patients with suspicion for lung cancer for the first time. Strain ratios of mediastinal lymph nodes will be compared with EBUS B-mode features and with tissue diagnosis as a gold standard.

HD+ I-scan Bronchoscopy Vascular Abnormalities Detection Multicenter Study

Lungcancer

Videobronchoscopy is an essential diagnostic procedure for evaluation of the central airways and pivotal for the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer. Further technological improvements have resulted in high definition (HD+) images and advanced image enhancement technique (i-scan). An earlier study (NCT01676012) has indicated that HD+ bronchoscopy in combination with i-scan technology is superior to HD+WL (white light) for detecting endobronchial vascular changes. In this study we aim to correlate these vascular changes to histology and hypothesize that these vascular changes are related to (pre-) malignant changes and that the addition of i-scan is superior to HD+ WL.

Investigators are therefore using DECT to test whether it can be used on radiation treatment to rapidly assess response to treatment.
