A Phase 1b/2 Study of Safety and Efficacy of Rociletinib in Combination With MPDL3280A in Patients...
Non-small Cell Lung CancerThis clinical research study is being carried out in two parts, Phase 1 and Phase 2. The primary purpose of the Phase 1 portion of the study is to observe the safety of the combination of rociletinib and MPDL3280A in EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients. The primary purpose of the Phase 2 portion of the study is to evaluate the safety and anti-tumor effects of the combination of rociletinib and MPDL3280A, at the best doses for the combination determined in Phase 1, in patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC.

Genomic Sequencing in Determining Treatment in Patients With Metastatic Cancer or Cancer That Cannot...
Metastatic NeoplasmRecurrent Neoplasm5 moreThis pilot clinical trial studies patients' genomic sequencing in determining specific treatments, also called Precision Medicine, in patients with cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) and/or cannot be removed by surgery. Examining the genetic code of a patient's tumor, a mutation (a change in the deoxyribonucleic acid [DNA] sequence of a cell or gene) may be identified and matched with available treatment that targets the mutated gene or an alternative treatment that may provide benefit for the patient with the mutation identified. Precision medicine may impacts patient's response to treatment by targeting specific mutations and may increase survival and improve quality of life.

A Study of ASP8273 vs. Erlotinib or Gefitinib in First-line Treatment of Patients With Stage IIIB/IV...
Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)The purpose of the study was to evaluate the progression free survival (PFS), based on independent radiologic review (IRR), of ASP8273 compared to erlotinib or gefitinib in patients with locally advanced, metastatic or unresectable stage IIIB/IV adenocarcinoma non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activating mutations. This study also assessed Overall survival (OS); Overall response rate (ORR) as assessed by IRR; PFS as assessed by the investigator; Disease control rate (DCR) as assessed by IRR; Duration of Response (DOR) by IRR; Safety of ASP8273; and Quality of Life (QOL) and patient-reported outcome (PRO) parameters.

Genetically Modified T Cells in Treating Patients With Stage III-IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer or...
Advanced Pleural Malignant MesotheliomaHLA-A*0201 Positive Cells Present9 moreThis phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of genetically modified T cells in treating patients with stage III-IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or mesothelioma. Many types of cancer cells, including NSCLC and mesothelioma, but not most normal cells, have a protein called Wilms tumor (WT)1 on their surfaces. This study takes a type of immune cell from patients, called T cells, and modifies their genes in the laboratory so that they are programmed to find cells with WT1 and kill them. The T cells are then given back to the patient. Cyclophosphamide and aldesleukin may also stimulate the immune system to attack cancer cells. Giving cyclophosphamide and aldesleukin with laboratory-treated T cells may help the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells.

Dexamethasone for Treatment of Radiation-related Fatigue in Patients Receiving RT for Head-neck...
Head and Neck CancerNon-small Cell Lung CancerThis study will look at how dexamethasone and placebo influence radiation fatigue, quality of life and number of treatment days missed during radiation therapy or radiation therapy and chemotherapy for cancer.

A Phase 2, Study of Ficlatuzumab Plus Erlotinib vs. Placebo Plus Erlotinib in Subjects With Previously...
Non-small Cell Lung CancerPhase 2 multicenter, controlled, randomized, double-blind study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ficlatuzumab versus placebo when administered with erlotinib in subjects with previously untreated metastatic EGFR-mutated NSCLC and BDX004 Positive Label.

Feasibility Study of SBRT Plus Chemotherapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma
Stage I Non-Small Cell Lung CancerStage II Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis pilot clinical trial studies stereotactic body radiation therapy followed by combination chemotherapy in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a specialized radiation therapy that delivers one to five high doses of radiation directly to the tumor and may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue than conventional radiation. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving stereotactic body radiation therapy, followed by carboplatin, and paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation may kill more tumor cells and result in a better and more durable response than conventional radiation and chemotherapy. The purpose of this study is to test the safety of this approach prior to larger studies.

Docetaxel With or Without TAK-117 (MLN1117) in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic...
Non-small Cell Lung CancerThe purpose of this study is to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of TAK-117 when administered in combination with docetaxel in participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of TAK-117 administered alone and in combination with docetaxel at the RP2D in participants with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.

Non-Small Cell Lung CancerNonsmall Cell Lung Cancer2 moreThe goal of the study is to find the best dose of pacritinib when given in combination with erlotinib.

A Study of LY3023414 and Necitumumab in Squamous Lung Cancer
Non-small Cell Lung Cancer MetastaticThe main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and activity of the study drug known as LY3023414 in combination with necitumumab in participants with metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
